When I rate chains I rate the service more than the food. The service here is fantastic for a chain. Ronishea, our waitress was the best, friendly, fast, and attentive. Not only that but when she needed help other members of the staff helped out. The food was delicious, I would recommend the pulled pork. The kids meal were a good value for the price.

We were passing through on our way to Mt. Pleasant and stopped here for lunch. They had a good selection of lunch specials and combos to choose from. The food was tasty & and the service was great. Most importantly, the kids were also happy & satisfied.

Fantastic BBQ, with many selections of flavors for you at your table for appetizers and entree’s. Highly recommended for bigger parties watching a major sports games with a hearty dinner menu available. The fried pickles and pretzel appetizers were to temperature and zesty dill dip and cheese dip were smooth. Pink Dragon was a pretty good specialty drink.

Good food, server Ra-Ra was great!! The Mac n Cheese is delicious and so are the baby back ribs and grilled chicken. Everything we’ve ever had here is delicious. Restrooms needed attention and girls up front needed to be aware of surroundings, Super good food and server was great!

The restaurant is nice looking and there is a lot of space. It was very clean. The food was okay. Some came out great and mine came out burnt. It seemed like the waitstaff wasn’t happy to be there, they weren’t rude and were still attentive, but just seemed very down. I would try it again but don’t think I’d go out of my way to come back in.

Food was ok at best. Wife’s $23 steak was was a joke, dried out and tastless. Service was a joke and it wasn’t even busy. Paid just shy of $80 without tip for meals that McDonald’s could have done better. Overpriced low quality tasteless food. Food in pics looks far better than it tasted. My 1st 1 star review ever for food and service.

I live in Battle Creek but I came to Lansing as tree service to assist in a state of disaster following a tornado/storm. The food was great. the enviroment was great. But the service was phenomenal. Andrew the bartender was the best part of the experience and that convinced me to come back night after night. He had welcoming conversations. He was very professional and quick to get me taken care of. Aside from the fact that every drink he made me was top notch! He also had an excellent understanding of the menu and cocktails and provided me great recommendations. People like him sometimes go unnoticed in the fast pace of dining out. but it didn’t go unnoticed on my end. He gave me space when I needed it (phone calls. conversations, etc.) but stayed attentive for when I needed him and was quick to make sure I was taken care of. He made the dine in experiences each time I returned the best and I highly recommend going to Smokey Bones Lansing based off my encounters with him alone. The food was good but he really went above and beyond! And for that I Thank You Andrew. Outstanding service from the best guy! 100/100 hopefully our paths cross again!

This was our second time trying Smokey Bones, but the first time in 5+ years. Nice atmosphere, cool interior design. Seems like a great place to sit at the bar or bring the family. Prompt, friendly service even on a Friday evening.
