Treated myself to a nice late lunch for one. Ordered the pork chop with caramelized onions and mushrooms and the silky mashed potatoes. Finished off with their butter cake. Sat in the lounge soaking in atmosphere enjoying my little lunch for one. Oh! My server was amazing! Missed her name but she was amazing.

We made reservations on open table for my son’s 10th birthday. Joes has two parking lots, one in front of the restaurant and one above it. There’s a ramp that goes down to the restaurant level. We had reservations at 6 and it was very crowded in the lobby area. We were seated around 615 which isn’t bad based on how busy it was. The service was impeccable. We started off with fresh sourdough bread with butter along with water all around, Shirley temples for the kids and espresso martini for my brother.

Although I grew up in SF, and my Mother recommended that we go to Joe’s for dinner, a place her and Dad used to frequent What a wonderful experience!! However, it was very crowded when we arrived and the Hostess was gracious and patient with all guests. So we used OpenTable and made reservations to come back in a couple of days.

Joe’s House Special Ravioli and Meatballs is still the same as I remember it. It’s been more than 20 years since the last time I ate there when my Dad was still alive. I liked the remodeled restaurant that still kept the Original Theme from the past built into the new modern Century. A co worker took me here today to treat me me for Lunch. We both went at 11am when the Restaurant opened as a walk in without a reservation.

The staff here is absolutely amazing. Honestly, haven’t had better service short of a 5 star restaurant. The food and atmosphere are classic American fare. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.
