Upon entry the hostess was very professional and welcoming. She sat us a table immediately. The restaurant was moderately busy. It took a while (10 min) for our waiter (Travis) to make an initial visit to our table. He apologized, had a bright smile and seemed attentive. He took our drink and food order and then disappeared. We ordered non-alcoholic beverages – water & ice tea. A food runner brought our food out fairly quickly but no drinks arrived. As she served our food, we inquired about our drinks and she seemed flustered but very apologetic. She immediately went and got our drinks and condiments. Our waiter eventually appeared with 2 additional waters and the lemons for the tea. When we were done eating we had to wait a while for our waiter to stop by and another 5 minutes to run our credit card. Super frustrating and it took 3 table visits to get our to go boxes.
The food was mostly good. Brisket grilled cheese was the favorite, chicken platter and bacon cheeseburger were solid. The wings were ok – didnt taste fresh and had that freezer taste (like frozen for too long). The portions were big and pricing was reasonable.
I had to use the bathroom and let me just say I am glad I went after I ate because the bathroom is in absolute disarray. Tiles missing, the counter pulling away from the wall and not very clean – if your bathroom is a mess I have to wonder what the state of the kitchen is.
On a last note, we never saw a manager and never had a manager check in.

The food taste so delicious, it was my first time here and I loved it . Food came out very fast even though they were busy . Jennifer was my server she’s really polite and attentive at all times . I would highly recommend eating from here

The pulled pork was juicy and delicious, served on a well toasted bun. The crispy and well seasoned fries were a treat. The beans were yummy but the serving so small they could have at least filled that tiny serving dish closer to the top.
The brisket grilled cheese was ooey gooey tender and filling. The coleslaw wasn’t particularly to our taste bur after a little doctoring up, a bit more like home…personal preference.
Our server was kind, smiling and and around just enough. We were made to feel very welcome.

Date night with my wife. Food was delicious and it was a lively atmosphere. My wife ordered the 3 favorites and got her shrimp late. We did not get checked on for a solid 30 minutes… and just asked for the bill. Maybe they were understaffed and busy. Would I go back, absolutely! I recommend you to try this place out if you haven’t. Travis, our server was apologetic and pretty awesome.

Place was pretty empty on a Monday maybe 10 people max. The silverware was dirty we asked for new silverware and that was dirty as well so we ask for plastic ware. When the food came the coleslaw was beyond soggy and tasted like it was left over from the weekend and not made fresh that day. I asked our waitress Mahogany to change my side. She apologized and brought me a new side. She was wonderful and made the experience pleasant. She was attentive and checked on us multiple times. The food was a little cold for it to be this few people in the restaurant I would expect the food to be top tier (plate wasn’t even warm). I haven’t been here in a couple years. This used to be my go to lunch spot. Don’t know if I will be back they seem to have went down hill. Idk if there is new management…. but the ribs are still good so compliments to the pit master.

Every restaurant tonight had an hour wait but when coming here’ we walked in and immediately got seated. The server Sam was polite’ courteous and attentive to our needs. He took the time to explain the menu and was patient when taking our order. Food waa good.

Me and my man went on Saturday evening for a little date night. When we got there it seems like the host was being a server too. She politely sat us down and said our server was coming. A guy comes and takes the drink orders then another host comes and takes our order then ANOTHER server comes and says he will be our server AFTER we already ordered everything. So yea the service was crazy

Ribs……overly DRY. My man ordered the full rack and it fell off the bone. Mine was soooo tough i didn’t even want it
Mac n cheese…NASTY. No seasoning..wet like it was frozen
Onion rings…GOOD! Very homemade crunch and the sauce was bomb
My margarita was perfect shoutout to the bartender!
Server never came back. I went to the cashier at the front she went and got him. Then after getting the bill thats when he wants to WAIT for a tip!!!! I paid thru the phone and we left
Overall I’m not sure if it was a bad day or what but I’m not a fan and probably won’t come back. So many good reviews I was super excited to try this location especially for the ribs 🙁
