Let me find the words.. I don’t just don’t hand out a full 5 star review.. You have to earn it!
The customer service was very warm and welcoming soon as we walked in the door. Wasn’t rushed to order and was very polite answering questions. That is rare when you have a young staff but kudos to them!
The atmosphere was very relaxing, clean and refreshing!
Now on to the food . Ordered plates #1 to try multiple meats and as a very talented smoker myself its hard to impress.
1. The brisket was very moist with flavor! No dryness or need to coat with a sauce. The balance of pepper was perfect as to not over power the smoked flavor.
2. The pulled pork was not as good as there was a slight dryness to it, but the flavor was still very good.
3. The Jalapeño sausage was just perfect! Full of flavor and not so hot to overpower the flavor.
4. The cornbread… don’t insult it and add butter. Very moist!
5. Smoked mac and cheese was thick creamy and full of flavor!
If you love quality Bar B Que. You have to hit this spot. This is hands down the best hidden secret from Spokane to Missoula!

First time in. They had beef ribs and they put one on a tray to show me how big they are. Fred Flinstone freak of a rib. I knew that one rib and a drink would be enough, maybe too much. The rib was pretty unique, fall apart tender and really juicy. Perfect smoke flavor and but not too over the top. The chimichurri was on point! Sauces also on point! But… my only caveat was the price. 1 large rib and a soda $75.00 after tip. I’m not tight, I’ll gladly drop 3 bills on lunch for two (and leave on a cloud ) at our favorite French restaurant. But man that tab really rubbed me the wrong way. I will go back. Pork ribs and brisket next time.

A friend recommended this place. The food is really good. My wife and I ordered platter #1. It came with brisket, pulled pork and a German or jalapeno cheddar sausage. You also get three sides. We got beans, smoked Mac and cheese and some kind of corn. We also got corn bread and I ordered a side of chili. They also offer different sauces you can try. The food was excellent. We did have one minor problem with our order. Without complaining, I brought it to the attention of the staff and they apologized and said they would take care of it. Next thing I know one of the owners came to our table and apologized. She more than compensated for the very minor problem. My wife and I were very impressed that an owner would take the time to come to our table, make sure things were set right and make sure we were completely satisfied. That’s the way to do business!

Love smokesmith!! We were craving mac n meat so we stopped in. Doesn’t look like it, but we ate until we were stuffed and now I still have dinner for the next 3 days. Also, ALWAYS get the cornbread!! Staff is always fun and friendly. ❤️

We went to watch the Buffalo Bills play football here. The menu was surprisingly different and offered some great options for somebody who just doesn’t want a hamburger. The staff was courteous and the food was absolutely delicious.
It was pretty cool to find somebody flying a flag for the Buffalo Bills outside of their establishment.
The owners are a couple and one is a Bill’s fan. I can’t remember what team the spouse supports, because for me, it’s all about the Buffalo Bills.
There was a wonderful atmosphere, with fans from many teams there.
The seating was comfortable and several tv’s are available so that everyone can watch their favorite team.
I did not get that overcrowded feeling that sometimes happens.
We will be going again. It really was an awesome experience.

So good! I got a brisket sandwich with a side of mac n cheese and both were phenomenal! The sandwich had a generous serving of tender n juicy slabs of brisket, and the mac n cheese was actually killer. On top of all that, Brooke, the sweetest bartender/cashier, gave me a great recommendation for a beer, it was on point 🙂

The food is absolutely top of the line authentic BBQ. The tri tip is my absolute favorite (when it’s one of their features for the day) but the brisket and Mexi Q corn are my top favorites on a day to day basis. Their tacos and nachos are also incredible!
