Kansas City BBQ at its finest. This chain BBQ in swanky Zona Rosa provides all the old favorites in an upscale setting. The place features indoor seating and a large fully stocked bar. The place is rife with the smell of bbq – it just makes your mouth water walking in here. The wait staff were fantastic – i informed them I had family from Australia here and they needed to know good bbq. The waitress did not hesitate and we were off to the races. The ribs fell off the bone, the brisket melted in your mouth and the pulled pork was another level of wow entirely. The sides were also amazing but, really, after the meat everything else is just support. Highly recommend.

We love this place. Was a regular customer. Always nice to have something for everyone until recently. They have changed their fried chicken strips. Now our kids refuse to eat here. Bring back the chicken strips. We definitely don’t go out for BBQ because it’s healthy.

Ordered 2 rib and brisket combination plates with baked beans and supposedly white cheddar Mac n Cheese plus a burnt ends and Mac plate for wife…. As a owner/chef, I wouldn’t allow these plates to leave kitchen on appearance, super sauced to hide reheating and age or meats. We left plates no complaining, paid and went to Buffalo Wild Wings across street to eat and go to hotel. Waitress was cool and the loaded nachos appetizer was OK. This was disappointing to say least traveling from south Mississippi. Pictured is how we left full plates…

We went with a group of people, and enjoyed the buffet style portioning. I’m not sure if this is just for bigger parties, but we had the brisket and the pulled pork, along with beans and cheese corn I believe. I thought everything was delicious! The beans were my favorite! I had a few things of the brisket but I definitely would come back so I could order and try other food!

Solid 5 stars. We were seated fast, service was friendly, our food came in less than five minutes, and everything was delicious. My wife loved the spinach salad and pulled pork. My three meat platter was cooked perfectly, and Mac and cheese was amazing. Only thing lacking is the property itself – needs updated/freshened up (i.e. the windows in the front door are cracked.) – not a big deal, but needs to be fixed.

I had The B3 (babyback rib meat on a bun), and subbed cheesy corn for the fries. It was good, though I didn’t particularly care for the sauce, which was neither sweet nor smoky. I did receive fries rather than the cheesy corn I ordered, and another member of our party got the wrong sauce for their shrimp. Both were fixed, but not before the shrimp got cold. The cheesy corn was delicious, though I didn’t think the bits of meat added any real flavor, so they could have been left out for a vegetarian option. The pickles were delicious, and no one else at the table liked pickles, so I got all of them!
My husband had the turkey and ham, also with cheesy corn, and enjoyed his meal.
Our picky nine-year old had a side of mac and cheese, and ate every bit, in spite of having McD’s on the way to the restaurant. Otherwise it’s not particularly kid friendly, though I didn’t get the impression that kids were borderline unwelcome, as I have at other nicer restaurants.
The restaurant itself was lovely, and the seats were comfortable. The sound level was pleasant, and you could hear the other members of your party talk. It would be an excellent place for a date, as long as you don’t mind your partner seeing you when you’re a little saucy.
The bathrooms were clean, with good decor.

In town for a few night, found this location. Wasn’t that bad but not the greatest. The fried pickles were good but a bit salty. The three meat plate was average. Pulled pork was good. Brisket was good, cut thin and moist. sausage was sliced like thin strips, looked like ham at first. The rib meat sandwich was okay. Overall not bad. Service was very good.

Stopped in after my flight and it greatly satisfied my BBQ craving. Smells great inside, very classy and friendly environment. They recommended the burnt ends and baby back ribs combo and was perfect! Will very likely visit on my way back home.
