Diamond in the rough! I am so glad we finally got some good bbq on the East side of town! I got a pork sandwich, coleslaw, and sweet tea. The sandwich was great and the tea was perfect (sweet but not too sweet). The service was excellent.

This place has given me a change of heart. They posted on Facebook that they listened and increased the size of their sides. That post alone made me think that perhaps I should give them another shot

Yesterday and today I had the rib plate with different sides each day.

Yesterday, I had 4 decent ribs. They were well cooked and seasoned and just delicious alone. The sauces are still watery and they need more options, but not bad.

Today, I received much larger portions on my ribs, and they were great again.

I had their Brunswick Stew. Very good. They should honestly put some of their vinegar sauce in it though as it was missing that zing.

The potato salad was pretty standard and good.

The collards were well done, but better with pepper sauce.

The baked beans are bbq beans and pretty good overall.

My wife enjoys their beef tips. She had that yesterday and said it was great. She had the grilled potatoes both days and enjoyed them.

Today, she tried the pulled pork sandwich. She likes that they do not sauce the meat so you can do it yourself. Good consistency, moist and juicy, and properly trimmed (lacking fats).

We haven’t tried the pizza since they moved, but they were excellent the few times we tried them at the Gillionville location.

Overall, I would recommend them now. Best bbq on this side of town.

I love going here. The wood fore pizza is the best in town and the Brisket is delicious. Oh, don’t forget to try the Salted Caramel Cheese Cake, it’s orgasmic!

Brisket is good, great smoke flavor. Pulled pork is well rounded nice and tender. Green beans are just like grandma used to make them.

I’m sitting here now, eating and felt compelled to do a review…when being seated we asked to move near the window because the original seating was like a walk way….it took 45 minutes to get our food and it was cold…we’ve had to flag the waitress each time we needed something and no its not busy…not to mention it’s my husband’s birthday and the customer service sucks…I remained calm because I didn’t want to ruin his birthday…oh yeah a couple just walked out because the service was horrible…so glad it wasn’t just me…I read all the great reviews and was really excited to check it out…oh boy, not a good choice.
