We love sitting in the bar. Ben and Mason are awesome! They are fun, friendly and provide really great service.The filet tips on the bar menu were amazing as well as the oysters on the half shell and the jumbo asparagus. The Tomahawk was cooked perfectly and was delicious. Overall great! Enjoyed chatting with others at the bar. Great ambiance and view. Will be back!!

The inside was very elegant and nice. Best part of dinner was the smoked old fashion at the bar. The food was pretty good. My steak was cooked right but could have been seasoned better. The service was very slow, and they didn’t check in too often. I ordered wine with dinner, and I didn’t received it until I already eaten half my steak. If they are going to charge the prices they are you expect it to be top notch. It was not. There is much room for improvement.

myself and a party of 2 others ordered the Christmas day menu special for $110 a person. 4 dishes with the main dish being a prime rib entree. the first dish was a taster of tomato soup which was alright. the second was a salad with close to no toppings, the waiter actually noticed this on his own and came back with additional salad toppings after seeing that i basically only recieved lettuce and an egg. the main entree, I recieved a deli meat style piece of prime rib, i put more meat on my hoagie sandwiches at home. it couldnt have weighed more than 3oz. no complaints about the dessert other than the crust was so hard that I had to eat it with my hands like a potato chip. atmosphere was fine. the waiter put my bread in a to-go box and he said he would include butter, later come to find out he didnt. I didnt even ask for butter, he presented the idea himself and then failed to follow through. final thoughts; besides the dessert, this place is texas roadhouse equivalent.

I ordered the braised beef… it was excellent, tender, flavorful, and melted in my mouth. The bread was soft and delicious, the salad was fresh, and the asparagus was perfectly cooked…crisp and tasty.
The New York Steak, however, was just average and felt overpriced for the flavor.
What really stood out, aside from the food, was the lovely ambience. The view of Mount Rainier is stunning, and the servers were friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better.
Overall, I’d rate it a 5 — mostly for the beautiful view and great service.

Chose Smoke & Cedar Steakhouse to celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary, and we are so pleased that we did! Magnificent view of Mt. Rainer, excellent cocktails, and incredible food. Our care was top-notch! Our server went out of his way to make our anniversary extra special with rose petals on the table, a lovely anniversary dessert, and wonderful banter. Our night couldn’t have been more perfect.

Spent our anniversary here for dinner. Service was immaculate. Seating outside was fantastic but the speakers just slightly loud to hold a conversation. Comp bread/rolls was nice and fluffy. Steaks were good and cooked to likely just a slight hint too seasoned/salty. Sides are very shareable and we had the loaded potatoes and brussells.

We were a large group (13 people) there to celebrate a birthday. We arrived to a birthday card at the table with a nice message. The service was fantastic. Joseph was our waiter – he was very pleasant and attentive with a great sense of humor. He also made sure to bring some birthday cake for the birthday boy and facilitated the birthday song. For a steakhouse, they had a lot of vegetarian options which was nice to see. The restaurant ambiance was pleasant. I ordered the tortellini, which could have used more flavor, but I’m not discouraged from going again and trying a different dish. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food as well as the atmosphere. It was a good experience and I definitely recommend this restaurant.
