Great happy hour drink options. House vodka choice is Deep Eddie or Pinnacle and house Bourbon is Buffalo Trace. Buyer beware, the tip suggestion at the bottom of the receipt is not calculated correctly. I guess they figure if you had too much to drink, you wouldn’t question the math and just pay what you see. It was almost a 45% tip. The happy hour food is also great. The smoked wings are excellent and it is a big portion. I think it was about 10 wings. They have a large bar area an the service is very good. Very personable servers.

Burnt ends were very tender and great taste. Tater tots and beans also very good. Fried brussel sprouts not so good. They were all leaf and very little crunch. The Old Fashioned was excellent. Service was fine if not overly hovering. Asked to take plates away while we were still eating. Place was not busy so a little quick on the trigger. Will go back to try ribs though. Overall satisfied.

I was excited to try Smoke BBQ as a Texan. I ordered the “two meat combo” containing pork spare ribs and brisket. I knew the brisket was gonna be a rough one to swallow when the menu said “cooked hot and fast to seal in the juices”. Hot and fast brisket doesn’t exist in Texas BBQ. It was bland, more dry than anything and the only thing that saved it was the good flavored rub. Even still, I wouldn’t serve this brisket at a free BBQ get together. The spare ribs were laughable. I have had oven baked ribs with more flavor than these. They weren’t real BBQ. What saves smoke BBQ from being a total waste of time is the environment. Nice outdoor seating with a very good quality live band playing. It’s worth a happy hour visit. Don’t eat the food though.

The staff was nice, our server was attentive and the place was busy. I had the spareribs. They were dry and burnt, too much char. The server brought me another slab. The second one was better, still a little too charred but it wasn’t dry. Overall, very mediocre ribs. I had to smother them in sauce to make them palatable. I like my sauce to complement my ribs not rely on it to totally flavor the ribs.
The sides were very good. The cornbread which comes with the platter was very tasty albeit sweet. It came with cinnamon butter but that was useless because it was cold and very hard and the cornbread was cold so you couldn’t spread the butter. You have a choice of one side. I had the chipotle cilantro potato salad which I enjoyed. We shared an order of fries and they were good as well.
Overall, for the price, this place is not worth it, at least not for the ribs.

I really love Smoke. The staff, the food and drinks are all fantastic. This BBQ joint really adds something new and different to the Downtown area. They have inside and outside dining and a large bar. I definitely appreciate the attention to detail ; cool mason jar the drinking glasses and rustic decor, all and all highly recommended.

I ordered the brisket last night through Delivery Dudes in Boca. I just wanted to say that I can’t stop thinking about it. it was, without a doubt, the most delicious brisket I have ever tasted. Perfectly done, melt-in-your-mouth goodness. Moist and rich, with just the right amount of fat content. BRAVO Smoke – i’ll be ordering again soon!

Great addition to Delray. Happy Hour special can’t be beat. Had pulled pork nachos for appetizer, word of caution make sure to have enough people to eat it, the thing is huge. Have the oink and moo sandwich which was also great

Great ribs and amazing mac and cheese. Fun ambiance . Tiny place so not very stroller friendly but great for a crowd. Finish off your meal with yummy fried Oreos. When you’re done you can walk to the beach! Great downtown location.
