We know smoked meats and these may be gas smoked ? ( not positive ) but let me tell you this…it was excellent “city bbq” everything was moist and seasoned well and lots of it to eat. We shared 2 platters of 3 meats with 5 people and everyone took some home for the next day. Our favorite was the Burnt ends and the ladies liked the Mac n cheese a lot. My favorite was the chopped bbq. They have live music sometimes and everyone was friendly in a laid back atmosphere. Recommend!

I went for the brisket. I figured a restaurant called SMOKE had to have an AMAZING brisket!…ummm it was ok :-/ ok actually it was borderline disappointing..if you look closely at my pics you can see the brisket was BURNT. I didn’t complain, because I was coming straight from the gym, and I was too hungry to wait for something else as this was my 1st meal of the day….it’s always when the 1st meal is a disappointment…the mac & cheese was #YUMMY, I definitely recommend this as a side if you give them a try.

Great food, atmosphere and staff. We were on the hunt for some good mustard sauce bbq and stumbled upon this place. We got the Brisket plate with mac and cheese and seasoned veggies to share. Also got a side of wings to go with it. Just the right amount of food for two people. Matter of fact, we had Brisket left over. We topped it off with a amazing slice of Pecan Pie with vanilla bean ice cream. So so good!!! The live music really made for a chill environment and family friendly. Both the mustard and tomato sauce was really good. I would for sure come here again!

We had 11 in our party for lunch and the staff was super accommodating. Atmosphere was comfortable and staff very friendly and answered lots of our questions. The beef (brisket) and cheddar ale sandwich was amazing. Bun was from a local bakery and only added to the freshness. Prices were extremely reasonable. I was not sure when I ordered the slaw instead of fries but was not disappointed. Next time we are in Charleston we will be visiting their King Street location.

Literally the best wings I’ve ever had. They are falling of the bone and bursting with flavor. Paired with the hash and grits will put you in the most enjoyable food coma you can imagine. It’s all cooked on site and the best in town. The service was great as well. We had Brooke and she was wonderful! All around a great experience. Definitely will be returning.

I love Smoke BBQ for their food, atmosphere, and service. You can sit outside, & enjoy their covered patio to soak up the fresh air. Or sit inside at the bar, their tall pub tables, or just a regular table. They carry a great selection of local beers on tap, so get one. Then their menu, where to start..the smoked wings are a must! They are cooked so perfectly and taste so good. My other favorites include the pulled pork, Cuban sandwich, baked beans, and hash fries. Service here is always friendly, and attentive. You’ll likely get greeted by the owner Roland too, just to check on your meal and service. That’s the way to run a business.
Smoke has more on their menu, and I enjoy trying different things. So I’ll be back again.
