The perfect spot for hungry students craving good Korean cuisine! This place gets super busy at dinner time, and the wait can be a bit long, but it is definitely worth it. There were lots of different options, ranging from more traditional to street-style Korean food, and everything we got was delicious. The menu was a bit pricey, but the portions were huge, which made up for it. We all enjoyed the stone pot bibimbap, the spicy pork, and fried pork cutlet. If you’re looking for authentic Korean food in Evanston, do not hesitate to check out Koco Table!

I know this is a while ago, but this was a life-saver for me during covid (I’m belatedly trying to credit them). I particularly love the Kimchi Albap. I was always impressed with how hot it was and easily it traveled my walk back to my apartment (I did pickup). I’ve been twice since covid and sat in the restaurant and similarly loved the food!

I love korean food and love this place! Been here a couple times all the way from Chicago and it didn’t disappoint! The service is pretty quick and the food tastes really good and has sizeable portions, great for family style dining. We got the cheese buldak, donkkasu, seafood pancake and galbitang. Everything was great, I thought the galbitang was ok, but my friends really liked it. Would absolutely recommend!

I received very poor service when placing a simple takeout order. After I ordered the orange chicken rice bowl, I noticed they charged me $2 more than listed on the menu. After paying, I waited 10 minutes for them to come back to the register and ask about it. They just took my credit card again and started complaining that their computer wasn’t working. At this point I wasn’t sure if it double charged me since she walked off again so I tried asking another waitress but she didn’t seem to understand what I was saying so she wasn’t much help. After the host came back after another 10 minutes of waiting, I asked them if I was double charged and she tried swiping my credit card again without explaining the situation and asked if I had Zelle. I said I did and they just wrote down their number without confirming their name or amount. After another period of waiting, she confirmed the amount and handed me the food without apologizing for the wait or confusion. The meal itself was flavored well and was well portioned, but the service for a basic takeout order was highly disappointing and I probably won’t be returning.

I would love to try koco table, but they consistently cancel every single uber eats or pick up order I have already paid for. Doesn’t matter the day or time. Very frustrating and I am never called or given any information about the cancellation.

They have really delicious korean dishes here and very generous serving. The seafood noodle was good and the beef bulgogi was tender and flavorful. You can also ask for a side of kimchi which I would say stole the show with generous serving also and spicy. We also love the kpop songs they were playing.

Went for a quick bite of wings.
Service is good, and the wings were ok (extremely crispy but not a lot of sauce and flavor inside the wing). The place itself is small and cozy.
There a bunch of really interesting dishes there. Will come back to try it sometime.

Overall, price is decent, the place looked clean, food tasted mediocre, seasoning was not proper, service was slow, and please do not order ddukbokki here. Worst I ever had.
Kimchi fried rice was decent enough and a big portion. It was too salty but tasted like a home cooked food.
And now ramen ddukbokki. This was more like ketchup soup. I had to sent the first one back because it was SOUR. The second one was a bit less sour but very very very ketchup ish. Ddukbokki should be Not pleased at all.
The service is slow and not really there. After serving the food, the server didnt come to ask how everything was or filled up the glass. There were 2 other tables when we came in, so it was not busy either.

A very decent restaurant! Although no the best Korean place I’ve been at, it definitely was good as of itself. Their serving portions are very sizable – one of these dishes could be enough to serve 2 people! Their Kimchi pancakes are a must get! they taste amazing. Dolsot Bibimbaps are huge but an amazing eat as well. I had the omelette rice, which was a huge omelette with a side sauce capping Korean fried rice. It was an amazing meal, but too big so it became repetitive 3/4 of the way through. Nonetheless, this Korean spot is great for a casual eat!
