Unfortunately, not a good experience. Ordered a 2 meat Platter with Ribs and Brisket with a side of Tater Tots. The Ribs were dry and tough, they did not taste fresh. The Brisket tasted good, but it was sliced so thin, and there was so little of it, that it was lost on the tray. The slaw that was served with the Platter was gray in color, and looked so unappealing, we didn’t try it at all. The Bartender waited on us, and he was friendly and helpful. The Husband stated that the Tater Tots were the best thing on the Platter. The place is cute, Guitars and music memorabilia hanging on the wall, but don’t look too close, not super clean. The pictures of food on google are very misleading, as our food did not look anywhere near the same. Very disappointed, can’t recommend.

Service was outstanding, the food was OK, and the place was cute but wasn’t super clean. Ribs were good, but the portion was very small – especially for price. While it was definitely half a rack, the ribs were tiny. Brisket & pulled chicken were ok – a little dry. Coleslaw was super dry and tasteless. The best value on the menu is the bowl, which is a combination of meat and sides layered in with plenty of topping options. They go heavy on the sides, light on the meat. Great craft beer selection and a fun “cheers vibe” to the bar.

We came here for lunch. The service was friendly and fast. We did not wait long for the food . I had ribs MacNCheese (Super Creamy for the Mac n cheese lover) with cole slaw. My husband had the pulled pork , Cole slaw and cucumber tomato salad our plates were both fresh and hot. I give the experience service and Great food 5 Stars⭐️

We walked into a nicely decorated barbecue place on Cordell Avenue in Bethesda- first time never even heard of it before and apparently it’s been there 5 years. I like barbecue I like reasonably priced delicious barbecue.
This could be the place near home, how did I miss hearing about this place thank goodness for Google.
We had a complete meal and everything was really good I recommend going here for dinner on one of those days when you really want barbecue or if you can’t decide what to eat try this place. I’m told they deliver. 2. Here’s my in-depth review we really enjoyed our meal and I’ll try to attach the pictures
The onion rings were cooked perfectly, when you bite through it you bite through it including the onion. Oh by the way they taste really good too.
Pulled pork was was so good that I almost couldn’t stop eating my pork sandwiches to take a drink. I literally had to think about putting my sandwich down to get a drink and stop myself from just consuming this terrific barbecue sandwich. At this point I also had a chance to try the side of slaw that comes with everything I’m told. Different and tasty and certainly the chef’s owned seasonings in this slaw.
The sandwich was so good I had to try the ribs. Oh my God so meaty maybe the meatiest I’ve had. Very nice house flavor barbecue sauce tops the ribs.
They’re also bottles of the sweeter sauce and hot sauce that you choose between when you order your ribs.
I got the scalloped potatoes as my side. A mistake, I personally do not consider really nice mashed potatoes with cheese melted across the top of them in their bowl scalloped potatoes. They were mashed potatoes with skins with cheese on top.
My dining partner wisely chose the waffle sweet potatoe fries.
They stayed hot at the plate unlike usual sweet potato fries. These waffle sweet potato fries State hot the entire time they were cooked really well and that have wonderfully fresh taste to them

Gave this place a shot and was super excited when searching for a lunch spot as BBQ is one of my all time favorites. Menu is greatly over priced but was willing to give it a shot. When the food came out. My first thought was smoke BBQ, where is the smoke. The food had no smoke flavor and appeared to come straight from the microwave. Food had 0 flavor and my wife and I couldn’t even finish it. Maybe it was just a bad day but the place was empty so should have been a clue. Needless to say it was a disappointment and we won’t be back. The best thing about the place was the friendly staff, thats the only positive regarding this feedback. Ownership needs to take control of the kitchen and produce some quality BBQ if they want to survive in today’s environment. Just some food for thought…

Odered a “Quarter Rib + 2 meats platter” to take-away for dinner. I was surprised to see that the portion (see attached image) was TINY given the cost of the platter – 27$. It comes with coleslaw and cornbread and your choice of side (I picked sweet potato fries) but after checking the receipt at home I realized we were actually charged 2,50$ extra for one of the meats that was supposedly included in the platter.
The food was mediocre at best – the best meat was definitely the ribs. The fries were extremely soggy as they were packaged hot and covered right away.
So sad to have had this first-time experience with Smoke BBQ.

I ordered takeout and it was HORRIBLE. The Peach Cobbler has bread as the topping, wasn’t sweet and it was dry. Cobbler doesn’t use bread. I ordered Deviled eggs and they put a whole bunch of seasoning salt on top of it, instead of Paprika, which most chefs use. It was all salt, terrible. The macaroni and cheese was thick with way too much cream cheese.The ribs are smoked well but under seasoned and the bbq sauce they give on the side is very bitter. I hated my meal.

We recently hosted a rooftop party for 75 people and Smoke BBQ absolutely delivered! The food was phenomenal, guests commented on the quality. From the brisket and chicken to the vegetarian options, there was something for everyone. The variety, presentation, and taste were all top-notch. Highly recommend for any large gathering or event, so glad we chose them. We’ll definitely be back!
