My friends and I went on a bbq tour of North Carolina/Tennessee and this was hands down THE best food we experienced in both states. Every time we went in there was at least one of the owners there to greet us, check on us, and have a full blown conversation with us. All the employees and locals were so friendly and recommended places to eat and things to do in the area. We went back to this restaurant 3 times in our 9 day trip and every single time it was stellar food and their customer service came with that good southern charm. We will be coming back and we certainly will spread the word about how spectacular this place was.

This is the best BBQ place hands down!! My husband and I both ordered the chicken cow pig, which one order is big enough to share! Their sides are out of this world! Baked beans, fried okra, hush puppies, fried pickles were all soo good and their Mac and cheese is on another level!! We will most definitely be back!

Wow, this place is so good. The food was top notch, the staff were super friendly (loved the young guy up front, he was great), and the atmosphere was so charming. Loved that they had a little play spot of play food and kids tables for my toddler, that was a huge hit. We tried different things, I got the loaded fries which were absolutely delicious, highly recommend those. My husband got the pulled pork plate and my son got the kids chicken tenders. All very good. I wish we lived closer so we could visit more often!

I got the pulled pork plate and there was tons of pork for the price. It was good. They have four choices of sauce and they are all good. There is no table service and no sweet tea. The baked beans are straight out of the can, hush puppies are definitely from a freezer bag and the Mac & Cheese is not recommended.

Best Barbecue we’ve had in a long time. The brisket beef tips were soooooooo tasty! We had a loaded platter topped with delicious pork. Friendly owner and staff. We had a lovely time talking about the history of Marion and all the new exciting changes occurring here in our wonderful little town. You won’t leave here hungry.

Hard review to make ,unfortunately this place has became quantity over quality.This used to me my favorite place to come eat and today was my first time eating at the new location, the once spiral cut potato wedge style fresh frys have became overly seasoned frozen waffle cut frys , the bbq meat I received was more fat than anything once I dug all the edible meat out I was left with a pile of just fat and maybe a 1/2 cup of actual meat, the cowboy candy a once thick butter consistency was a tasteless waterdowned version of that sauce , the only thing holding on for me was their blueberry bbq sauce was still the same fresh homemade sauce , I know this is new location and they’re probably still working out kinks but the quality went from 10/10 to 2/10. I really hope it was just due a bad day. Side note: our waitress was amazing.

As a Londoner and having lived in Charlotte for 15 years, traveling all over the US, my BBQ standards are high. This place delivers! Great quality meat and smoking flavors. I was chatting to the owner; the sauces are a amazing, that is because he is a perfectionist, and tried so many variants to get them just right. The artwork in there, go in there and see if you can guess what famous person did it.. and the price is amazing. Hitting the gym hard, protein price point is amazing!
