First glance it seemed closed but when we stepped inside we were greeted by the staff and they were extremely nice!! There is a very home type feel atmosphere. I didn’t feel rushed to order. We had the brisket,pull pork, and the soul roll. The brisket was really good 9/10! The brisket soul roll was okay It was dry the sauce helped 6.5/10. The sides were good they did their job 5/10. The peach cobbler was a not it! 1/10 really it was just hot peaches with cinnamon.

Absolute best brisket I’ve had in a long time. Called in a late to go order felt bad… food come out absolutely amazing, I’m a big food critic guy. Will most definitely be recommending this to everyone I know. You guys are awesome. Usually when you call in food late it’s not the best. Everything i had was good as heck. Not a single thing I disliked. (This picture was after I had eaten some, so There was a little more haha) Their bbq sauce was very good, and it was some of the best Mac n Cheese I’ve ever had. Service was also excellent, they were very nice and attentive.

We decided to try Smitty’s Smokin Soul Food about two weeks ago which is a 1hr 45min drive from where I live. When we arrived inside of the restaurant we were greeted by a nice young lady at the end of the counter who was chopping up the brisket. She then, asked was it our first time in, how did we hear about the location and even asked would we like to try a sample of the brisket. We then proceeded to the register to place our order before sitting down at the table. It was a little struggle to find a clean booth due to them needing to be wiped down and the others unavailable. Then, we found a decent one and sat down to wait for our food. My friend and I decided to use the public facilities while waiting for the food to arrive and my friend came out of the men’s restroom upset. He stated that the toilet was about to overflow into the floor and needed some attention immediately. My food arrived first then and then my missing item(soul roll)arrived within the next few minutes with his food. I was very caught off guard by the soul roll because it was burned and look as if it had been sitting with the other food near the cash register under the heat lamp for hours. I did try it before telling the young lady it taste burnt. I asked her if they were all that way and she stated,”Yes ma’am they all are like that,” and just walked away without a care in the world. We had to literally get up and go to the register and return the burned soul roll because no one should be made to eat anything that is not right. While enjoying the rest of our food they brought out a fresh and unburned soul roll that looked nothing like the old one as before. After, finishing our food my friend decided to get a refill on tea at what we assumed to be a self serve location near the kitchen area. Shortly, after that we found out through the first young lady who greeted us telling the others that no one should have to get up and refill anything. Overall, the food was ok but I was very disappointed with our first time experience. I want to say this and mean no disrespect. Sometimes when you have alot of teens working it helps to have a adult there to oversea things are going smoothly. Tables need to be wiped down and cleaned after each customer, restrooms need to be checked on periodically and no customer should have a empty cup while eating. I do want to recognize the young lady who worked that day at the end of the counter chopping the brisket. She definitely has the personality, mindset and purpose that is needed in this world.

Seen this place on tik tok and it looked really good, found out I live about two minutes down the road from them. Decided to door dash it today to give it a try. DONT DO IT! Overpriced to the moon! Go to Mutts Bbq or little pigs. Ended up spending almost 70$ for two average size bbq plates. Charged extra for a bun. It wasn’t horrible but it definitely was not good enough to be worth 70 dollars. I could’ve went to Mutts and got 2 buffets for 30$ and got unlimited and better bbq! Kinda disappointed as the tik tok I seen looked so good in the video. I think these places give these food critic guys a better plate than actually customers lol. Or idk maybe I just got bottom of the barrel but definitely disappointed and feel like I got robbed !!!

I had the best experience at Smitty’s. The wings were great. The soul roll was amazing. The sides were phenomenal. But NOTHING compared to the burnt ends! They were some of the best I’ve ever eaten! The staff was so helpful too. If you haven’t tried this place, it is a MUST STOP! Best dinner I’ve had in Easley!

The food was really good. Nice flavor, green beans were just right for me. Okra was good a little too salty but it balanced out. Smoke chicken was really good. Cook good. Chicken itself is not seasoned. But the seasoning that was put on the chicken was just right. Overall a great place. I uber eats this order. So I don’t know what the restaurant was like. It was great for me having food outside of the truck stop. Hopefully next time i get the same experience.

We love it! There are so many entree/protein options; we tried each one and they were amazing, especially the brisket and the fried chicken. The service was great and the owner greeted us at our table, as well. I can’t recommend this place enough. Also, for their catering, they get back to you quickly and a flexible to meet your needs!

We got there right when they opened, so did not have to wait long. We were greeted as soon as the door opened.
Our order was taken quickly, just wish we had noticed the had specials written on the wall besides just the basic menu items listed online.
Just means we will know what to order next time, and we will definitely be going back.
The food come out well seasoned and hot, even if they didn’t have coleslaw ready (just another reason to go back).

Came in on a Friday night around 6:30. You order at the counter. We were able to get a table right away. There was only one other table being used by a party of 6. Service was fast and friendly. They sweet tea was yummy. The ribs were very good. Nice smoke ring and fall off the bone. My wife said they were the best she had ever had. even better than my ribs, lol. The brisket was pretty good, too. It was just kinda luke warm and hard/dried out on the ends. It also had a good smoke ring with a killer bark. The Mac and Cheese was good that, too, was kinda dried out. The whole family agreed the French fries were the best side, made fresh and hot. The sweet potato casserole was made with love. I wasn’t a fan of the soul roll . It was overcooked and dried out as if it was sitting under a heat light/lamp for hours. Maybe if it was fresh and cooked to order, it would have been better. The price for the food is very reasonable, especially for the quality of it. Right portions for the right price. I would recommend giving them a try.
