Came to dinner with my girlfriend and as she took her first bite she almost threw up as she pulled out a long piece of hair out her mouth. We called the waiter and they took the fried plantains and replaced it with white rice. Every single waitress and waiter came to our table and asked how we were doing as they joked about the hair. When we asked for the check they did not provide any kind of credit. When asked we were offered a reduction of a bottle of water which they charge $1.50. I told the waiter this was unacceptable. The waiter went back and asked the waitress behind the register and came back and told us no credit would be given. I provided my credit card and expressed how disappointed we were. After waiting for more than normal to have my payment processed they came back with a discount. At that point I told the waitress I don’t want the discount, we were insulted by their initial response and lack showing respect to their customers. The food is very good unfortunately the treatment to their customers needs to be corrected. As I ate my dinner the one waitress was picking the waiters hair as if he had something in it. Why would you play with hair in a restaurant while your customers are eating.

Food is always good at this place! Service is friendly and quick, I highly recommend ordering the lunch specials called “menu” in Spanish. You get soup, entree, and drink for a great price and the menu options change daily. Good place for Peruvian food.

I tried this restaurant since we were in Perth Amboy and order just order of fries and fried yuca, and got to say the fries were good but the yuca was alright but it look like small pieces, and the green spice look watery and weird since it was not made the right way. It look like it had chunks and i don’t know what this sauce was. I think I’m going to stick to the Peruvian spots in Elizabeth, NJ

The food didn’t taste 100% Peruvian specially the green sauce for the pollo a la brasa. The fries were not homemade they tasted like frozen french fries. To pricey for bad quality. I don’t recommend it sorry.

My family and I have enjoyed the meals from here, however no one at the Perth Amboy location speaks english. It’s super hard to communicate with them as far as placing an order. I understand their native language is spanish but they should be able to run a business with the understanding that NOT only spanish speaking customers will be giving them business.. hopefully they can consider having a bilingual employee.I do not like the fact that they charge a delivery fee plus an extra percentage if a credit card is used. I once did the delivery and to my surprise saw the delivery fee (I was not informed of this when I placed the order) still I absolutely tipped the driver but the total amount of my bill was way higher then is should have been. I will never opt for delivery again. If I even decide to continue giving this place any business.. which is a shame bc again the food is actually very tasty……….
