Amazing food!!!! Had the ribs and brisket, potatoe salad and beans. Ribs were my absolute favorite! So good! It’s cash only but the ATM was right up the street. The owner was so friendly, we ate at the tables their. He came out to make sure everything was to our liking. Such a sweet man. Wish we had this in Ohio!

Went to Smith’s based off the Google reviews and was not disappointed. Don’t let the weathered trailer and industrial area fool you, that’s where you’re always going to find the best food. Ol boy working there was very friendly, made some recommendations. I went with the brisket, sausage, baked beans, and green beans. Brisket was great, not dry at all. Sausage was very good. Baked beans were great. Green beans were probably the best I’ve ever had. Cash only. Darn good lunch for $15

Cash only. It’s a run down food truck in an industrial area but don’t let that scare you off. The lone employee we met was pretty friendly and the food was very very good. Finger licking good. Everyone enjoyed the flavors and freshness. And as many already stated, it’s a pretty good value. We came here on our way to SeaWorld and have zero regrets. The corn side and potatoe salad are seriously good.

Picked up lunch here today and it was delicious! Ribs are 12/10, brisket was some of the most tender I’ve had in SA and the potato salad and beans were very good. Highly recommend! Cash only.

Best Barbecue I ever had. I had the chicken and briskets with potato salad and green beans. Keith was very hospitable and kind . What shock me the most was the green beans. I have a hard time eating vegetables and I cringe trying to force myself to eat green beans but that wasn’t the case. Everything that I got on my plate was delicious. Thanks Keith !!!

I’ve been visiting and rating as many barbecue places as I can in San Antonio.

VENUE: 1 Star – just a trailer on a dirt lot. Located in the middle of an industrial District.
PRICE: 5 Stars – CASH ONLY, for what I got on my plate this is the best value by far!
BBQ: 3-4 Stars – depending on what cuts of meat you get this place was pretty good. Some pieces didn’t feel quite tender enough and were a little chewy. He doesn’t have a lot of options for the sides.

This place, definitely exceeded my expectations. When I arrived, I wasn’t expecting much just seeing a food truck and a rundown lot with some smokers behind it. The owner’s extremely nice. The barbecue was quite good. I don’t think you’ll find a better deal than this!

Absolutely delicious. This is the first 5 Star review I’ve given to any business. I can eat a piece of bread with this delicious BBQ sauce. All the meat was tender, smoky, and succulent. The strawberry shortcake was amazing it wasn’t overly sweet it was perfect. It is cash only so make sure to bring some bills.

So grateful I was nearby this place today for work to try it out for dinner. The reviews did not disappoint or fall short of my expectations. There are outside tables to sit at if you don’t get take out. This place is pristine authentic Texas bbq, absolutely delicious. Great peach cobbler especially for a stand.

I drove by this place everyday for a year and didn’t know it was there. This is the best BBQ I’ve had from a restaurant. All of meats were cooked to perfection, and you get a good portion size for the price. I will definitely be returning
