Hands down one of the best Smithfield’s locations I’ve visited. The service here is outstanding—everyone is friendly and welcoming. The dining room is always clean, and I love that they have a sink available to wash your hands before eating. Great food, great atmosphere, and fast service. A perfect spot for a quick, quality meal.

This Smithfield’s hits different than the others! If you just want quick, southern BBQ in a clean dining establishment this is it! It should meet the expectations you would have for such BBQ. The staff was friendly, helpful, attentive and help when needed! The dining area was clean even with a sink to wash after eating fried chicken or just needing to wash! Food had flavor too considering its BBQ and chicken, most places don’t season of flavor breading or pork and such! They also have a Tesla supercharge behind the restaurant to charge while you eat or if you need to charge.

Got a combo with BBQ CHICKEN. Disappointed in the amount of BBQ. THEY FILLED IT UP WITH HUSHPUPPIES. It wad takeout so didn’t know until I got home. Disappointed based on price for what I was given. Also had to wait 15 minutes for the BBQ CHICKEN. I love Smitbut this was i worst experience

Good Ole Carolina BBQ! Smithfield Chicken and BBQ is the best. There was no way I could pass through NC without stopping. I wish I could take this BBQ to the Midwest so the vs can stop. Vinegar base vs. BBQ sauce. There is no comparison, especially on shredded pork. If you don’t know what hush puppies are then shame on you. You must stop in and try both the real BBQ and hush puppies. I must add … the sweet tea is perfectly sweet.

Good was good for my first time being in a Smithfield’s. Crunchy tender white chicken, pulled pork great flavor, yummy hush puppies and lots of walking after trying this southern food. Wish there were more heathy options on the menu. But wanted to see what it was like.

Been a while since I’ve been to any Smithfields but overall not bad. The fries were plentiful, the popcorn shrimp was actually popcorn shrimp, and hushpuppies are always excellent. The BBQ is a little bland to me, even with the extra sauce. As a fast food joint, it a great option. But as a BBQ joint, lack of smoke makes it a “pass”. But it was as expected, store was clean, service was fast and friendly. Cheers.

Stopped here while I was in New Bern, the young lady at the counter was very nice which is rare these days, so that was good, unfortunately the food was extremely meh – just not good at all. Also the dining area is drab and dingy – looks like a cafeteria in an institution of some sort. Definitely won’t go here again.

Haven’t had Smithfields in newbern in awhile. Decided to get a regular BBQ plate for lunch. The serving of BBQ I got was surprisingly a lot smaller compared to havelock or moreheads Smithfields. After spending $12 for such a small plate, I’ll choose somewhere else besides smithfields in newbern from now on.
