Awesome coffee place in the EP suburbs. The place is lively, serving awesome coffee and great food. It reminds me of a big house with big happy family, feels like home. Parking space is limited for the number of people they can accommodate, especially on weekends, it can get difficult to find parking, so please plan wisely!! Must visit!!

I stopped by Smith Coffee & Cafe recently and had a fantastic experience. I ordered a latte, and it was easily one of the best I’ve had in a while.
The espresso was smooth without any bitterness, and the milk was steamed to that perfect, velvety micro-foam texture. You can tell they really care about the quality of their beans and their craft. The atmosphere was also great-super welcoming and the perfect spot to kick back or get some work done.
If you’re a coffee lover, this place is a must-visit.

I enjoyed coming here for pizza (I think they do this one night a week) but have also gotten coffee here on a Saturday morning. Would definitely recommend their coffee BUT BE SO WARY – their parking lot can get filled up pretty quick and the apartment building right next door WILL TOW (unfortunately speaking from personal experience) I know some people have parked in guest spots with no trouble but just be aware

W O W! I’m an avid cafe hopper and this one is at the top of my list for sure. This cafe was so lovely and had the best vibes ever! They had a ton of options of drinks and snacks for you to choose from and everything looks (and is) delicious! I’m so impressed by the uniqueness of this place and especially the seating options! I feel like when you walk into another room– theres just another one– and then another one– and another!!!! Endless places to sit at. I would recommend this cafe to anyone to come visit because it’s so perfect for every occasion. Need to study? Come get a cup of joe with a croissant to ease your stress. Need to catch up with an old friend? Get some lattes and a cinnamon roll to split. To make this place even better, the parking lot is huge! Lots of parking spaces… which are free might I add, and right outside the cafe!

I have been coming to Smith Coffee & Cafe in Eden Prairie for years. I remember going there with my mom back when it was a Dunn Brothers, and then when it transitioned before becoming Smith. I am fairly certain the Schusters have been running it since I started visiting, and it has always felt like a place with steady ownership and care behind it.
Earlier today I was in Eden Prairie getting water from Frederick Miller Spring, and since it was such a beautiful day, I decided to stop in and say hi to Ann and Alex. The first thing that always stands out is the smell of fresh coffee when you walk through the door. What I appreciate most is that their coffee never tastes over roasted or bitter. It is smooth, balanced, and easy to drink.
The space feels intentional in its design. It is tasteful, calm, and welcoming without trying too hard. The staff is always professional and moving with a quiet efficiency that makes the whole experience feel effortless.
Today I grabbed the chicken pesto sandwich to go. It has chicken, roasted tomatoes, fresh arugula, and a well balanced pesto aioli on toasted levain bread. Do not overlook their lunch menu. It is genuinely one of the better artisan style sandwich spots in Eden Prairie. The bread is fresh, the vegetables are crisp, and the flavors are thoughtfully layered.
You might walk in for the coffee, but the food and atmosphere make you want to come back. It is one of those places that feels refined and welcoming at the same time.

The Santa Flat white is just a normal flat white, which is so wholesome on its own that it doesn’t need extra flavors, it’s just as good as they make them in New Zealand!

I was really excited to try this cute coffee shop in Eden Prairie after hearing so much about it, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to the hype for me. Parking was a hassle — we went on a Friday around 11am and still struggled to find a spot. I ordered the Cinnamon Girl latte and it tasted like milk with no espresso flavor… I also ordered the breakfast burrito and as you can see it just came with a giant clump of egg in it. My friend felt similarly about her latte (also underwhelming), but she did enjoy the Avocado Toast.

I came here with some friends to start our girls day off on the right foot with some delectable food and a steaming latte. Smiths Coffee and Cafe was the PERFECT place for us to pick. It is an old historic house, so it had all the charm and beauty of a 100 year old home while having modern updates inside that accentuate the good bones of the structures. The food was fresh and light. I felt so bougie sipping my latte in such a gorgeous environment. If you’re looking for the perfect date spot, study area, or just need a perfect pick me up coffee, this is your place!
