The food is delicious… The customer service was amazing . He gave me a free Italian ice while I waited for my order and it was delicious. I love how it’s made to order so you know it going to be fresh . Well seasoned 10/10 will definitely recommend!!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 9/10 Experience at Smiley’s!
Tried Smiley’s for the first time on Taco Tuesday, and it was a great experience! We ordered two rounds of tacos — shrimp, chicken, and beef — and they were all 10/10. The flavors were on point, and it was fun trying different meats with their three sauces: BBQ, Everything Sauce, and salsa. Each one added a nice twist.
We also got the Pro Loaded Fries — absolutely delicious! I personally think a thicker cheese sauce would take them to the next level, but even as-is, they were fire.
The Philly Cheesesteak (ordered without peppers and onions — my personal preference) was solid, though a bit salty. I’m sure it would’ve been better with the full toppings, so that one’s on me.
The owner was extremely nice, helpful, and quick with the service. He said the food would be ready in 20 minutes — and it was right on time. I see a lot of other reviews have this as their only complaint but the owner did say you can also order online, which I’ll definitely do next time for quicker pickup.
Overall, great food, great service, and great energy. Definitely lives up to the name Smiley’s — friendly vibes and good eats. Highly recommend checking it out!

This place is a true diamond in the rough. Awesome food, and Carlos was a truly great guy. We showed up just before they closed,and he made us feel as welcome as family at a reunion. Great guy. Do recommend preordering online as it was busy and gives them time to get orders lined up. If you haven’t yet, give them a shot.

Carlos and Barry are truly amazing! My coworkers and tried this place for lunch, and we were blown away. The food was packed with flavor and perfectly cooked, the smoothie was super refreshing and not overly sweet, and the portions were more than generous. Oh and they got all of our order correct even with the special requests. Their special sauces are absolutely incredible. The whole experience was perfect from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back again soon! Thank you guys again.

We just happened upon Smiley’s sandwich shop when we were down in Hampton Virginia for a swim meet. Carlos was awesome. If you want some brotherly love from Philadelphia with a southern flair. This is the place to go. The food was delicious and his caring for people and humanity shown through. We need more people like Carlos and more food like Smileys.!

In town for the beach from RVA and needed a good sandwich to top off the day. Smiley’s had the best reviews, soso glad we stopped by and hope to be back soon. Their Philly cheesesteak was amazing and the customer services is top tier. Walk up window only, so keep that in mind if you are looking for a sit down.

If you’re on the hunt for the best Philly in Hampton Roads, end your search here. My mans did it up right; the seasoning, THE BREAD, the peppers and onions, the cheese, bro it was all perfect. I added mayo cause usually around here they dry, but when I tell you this is the best Philly I’ve had outside PA I mean it’s the BEST.
I’m telling you they check every box.
