This is a chain restaurant that is dwendling to just 2 shops in Las Vegas. This one is located in the Rio casino, in the Masquerade tower, on the second floor near the High Steak Entrance. It is kind of out of the way and hard to find. Once you get there, it is set up as a fast food place. The burgers and chicken sandwich were pretty good.

Staying at the hotel and did an online order. Value menu is such a hack. Sometimes they have online deals that get you even more value.
Got the Dbl All American and the Dbl Scorchin Chicken, finished off with Tots.
All American: A little salty, but burgers had nice char. Cheese was melty, but still, too much salt.
Scorching Chk: Perfection! Cheesy, spicy, tender chicken with the kick from the jack cheese. That sandwich was magically delicious.
Tots: Perfectly cooked and had an excellent crunch by time I got back to my room.
Great food, fantastic value for Vegas, I will be back!

So much potential…but in the end, not a great burger. My bottom bun was soaked in oil, had to throw it to the side. The burger itself looked promising, but it was supper salty/rich. I couldn’t finish it.
But hey the price was right compared to the hotel burgers.

This is far away from the hustle and bustle of the casino floor it’s nice and quiet/private. The food is good as they make it fresh and the prices are pretty reasonable for Vegas.

Customer service good as far conversation but not as good regarding attention to detail…i ordered the shrimp sandwich, sauce to salty, shrimp overcooked, lettuce wilted and bread was best part of it…for $10 not worth it. Ordered totts and smash totts only got totts but did get the container they come in with a ketchup packet in it …one of my biggest pet peeves is a restaurant putting the condiments in the bag without asking…i don’t know where they have been…Brussels were lack luster as well…will not go back

My first time at Smashburger. Location Rio Hotel & Casono. I ordered the smashburger with grilled chicken and Brussel sprouts. Both were awsome! Especially those brussel sprouts!!! The staff was great as well. I will definitely be back before I leave.

I got my burger with no cheese and even though I always clearly specify no cheese, most places still put it on. Not here! This double smashburger was made exactly as asked. And boy, that beef is tasty and all the toppings made a really great burger. And can’t be at the price! Just $7.

I was so hungry when I got here, there were too many option. Tink waited so patiently for us to decide and was great. Happy smile and an awesome attitude! I love coming upstairs and getting great customer service. Way to go Tink, we love that human interaction, but l you made it so much better.

Veteran’s Day Appreciation Deal. First I want to thank Smashburger for giving a free burger and 25% Off for the rest of your items for Veteran’s Day. I’ve only been to Smashburger one other time and it was a long time ago , like at least 5 years ago. It’s priced like a Premium Hamburger restaurant and I wasn’t that impressed with it the first time to come back.
The cashier that helped me was nice enough , but not overly friendly. She did take care of me right away and my food did come out in a timely manner. The food itself again didn’t impress me though. The burger was not very flavorful or thick like a premium burger you would expect. It wasn’t very salted or seasoned either which I like a little seasoning , but not too much like In-n-Out which I ask them for my burger to be lightly salted because they just seem to pour it on there.
I got the tater tots seasoned with garlic and olive oil and they had a little too much oil on them. Again I wasn’t impressed at all with the taste. It’s like their food is missing something. The dining area is kind of small , but clean. The prices for the food for the taste for me is reason enough for me not to come back to Smashburger. It just doesn’t do it for me. I would have given a 2 Star if I would have paid full price for this. I do appreciate having the chance to try it again with this free burger deal , but I can’t recommend anyone going to a Smashburger. Of course everyone has their own taste.
