I stopped in on 26 Feb 22 at 1650 making my way home from working. I wanted more then just a “fast food” burger. Ordered the Colorado lettuce wrapped with smash tots to go They don’t get many requests for lettuce wrapped so I heard the staff clarifying that I did not want a bun, but I got exactly what I ordered. The staff was friendly and provided an easy ordering experience. Customer service was outstanding. Thanks Smash burger staff!!
When I got home about 20 minutes later I warmed up tots in the toaster oven and enjoyed my dinner.

Only suggestion even though it was non stop busy with food orders is to do a quick wipe down of tables for those that may want to dine in.

Usually the burgers seem too pricey. But the French onion is$4 and delicious! Added the roasted Brussels sprouts. The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is the tables and floors were a bit dirty. Most people got food a left. There was one other table with people. If the floors were dirty I might not have cared. But someone couldn’t wipe down the tables? And they have to the smallest bathroom. I had to sit and my feet hit the trash can that didn’t even have a liner. It held cleaning supplies. I’ll get food to go or eat in other locations.

Smashburger has not delivering me a great experience in Colorado, but this location is the worst one you can go. Went there a few times, not a super clean spot by far, and it always has delays. However, last Saturday their employees went above and beyond — and I’m being ironic.
I was leaving on a trip with my wife and son and, because he was asleep, we ordered online (takeout) through the app. Once I entered the restaurant, one employee just yelled “15 minutes” in a rude manner. I replied “but I ordered online”, and his face was kind of “whatever”. There were other customers in line and he wasn’t being friendly with anyone.
My order came around 12 min after I arrived (around 18 min since I put the order), however my milkshake cup was only 2/3 full and my burger wasn’t warm. I took a pic of my shake just after receiving it — you can see the cup was sealed. I was really upset, but I could not stay and complain. Also, I ‘m pretty sure the employee didn’t care about getting my order right, so he wouldn’t care about fixing it.
I really hope I receive a feedback from Smashburger – if not, I’ll stop going to their restaurants, not just this one.
UPDATE (Oct 11th 2021): as you can see below, someone from the company wrote an answer asking me to send an email to them, telling my case. I sent two emails. First I had no answer. Second they said I should wait for an answer (that never came). I’m no longer a customer.

Excellent stop for a quick burger. Brian does a good job keeping the orders flowing and the dining area clean. Takeout and in-store togo orders are fast, friendly and overall what you’d expect. Maybe add a shake if you’re feeling spicy.

This is RAT BURGER I am typing this review as I am eating toast with butter because I have no food. As you can see pictured below, I am experiencing child hunger because of this ratstraunt. ✨

So originally I posted a year ago and left a great review about how I enjoy their food and loved the experience I had there I also rated 5 stars. After an experience in March I will no longer support this business their management is rude and wondering why we constantly complain about our food but they’ve never stopped to think if they just gave us what we’ve paid for and ordered we wouldn’t have any complaints. I’ve never asked for anything more than I paid for with this business and I’ve never received what I paid for. I feel like it’s a waste of time trying to get what you want from Smashburger in Lafayette you will always get an order that screwed up and a nasty attitude if you let them know that there was something wrong. So do us all a favor don’t waste your time and going to this business because I assure you you will leave it as dissatisfied as I was. My new rating for this business is 1 * and really they don’t even deserve that.
