This was my first visit here at the Kingsley location. I have to say I was a little disappointed. When i first walked in I noticed the floor was very slippery, like it had a thin coat of oil or grease on it. I had to be careful not to bust my ass. I ordered a classic double burger, smash-tots, and a large soda. It was $21.06. I noticed the drink station, floor, counters and tables were dirty and sticky! The food was pretty good, no complaints with the quality of the food. But, after I left I noticed that the large soda I ordered was not a large it was a regular because the receipt stated a 30oz drink but I received maybe a 16-20 oz cup, Duped!!! I will prob stay away from this place.

So we first found out about smashburger when we were in irmo South Carolina. Excellent burgers. Great flavor. We got excited when we found one that we had closer to home, but after today’s experience I’m not too sure if I would want to go back. The Colorado Burger that was ordered was not cooked all the way and the messed up on what cheese was supposed to go on it. They put American cheese on the Colorado Burger when it was supposed to be pepper jack.
I’ll tell you what I hope this place can get better, at least in the standards at irmo South Carolina smashburgers had.

I’m changing my rating on the Google review for smashburger. The reason why is because 5 hours after my initial review I received a reply from the owner of the restaurant. Apologizing and understanding my concerns. This is the first time that a owner has contacted or replied to a Google review that I posted in such a quick response and manner. I highly respect that. I understand stuff happens and mistakes occur. So I’m going to give smashburger another shot on my next day off from work.
And if you’re the owner in reading this, I appreciate the leadership and commitment you have to your restaurant and franchise.

This was the worse experience ever regarding making payment for my food . I went to smashburger in Kingsley and I was on my lunch break so I was not expecting to hear our card machine that should accept tap does sometimes work and sometimes it doesn’t however it is a known issue and has been for a while and no one has done nothing to inform the customers like a single sign on the door or advise before ordering . I later found out it was a software issue and that is known and it is what it is . The manager did nothing to accommodate me except tell me to go online make an order and pay and they will then prepare the order . Wasn’t that the point of going to the facility in my lunch to enjoy the atmosphere . I will never eat here or allow my co workers worse !
