9/27 Do NOT get their brisket burger, brisket pieces are burnt to a black unappetizing crisp, like overscorched bacon, no taste whatsoever.. the burger meat was fine but in my next truffle burger it was totally burnt on the bottom surface and not pleasant to eat at all.. the truffle flavor was nice but this place has to get there burgers together before I come back here. Do not recommend.
The burger was like an actual home made burger, nothing fast food about it, although the food did come out of the kitchen to my table within 5 minutes of me sitting down.
The French fries were perfect, skinny little shoestring fries cooked to perfection in beef tallow.
I could not believe how good of service I got from the employees. Every employee in the place was clearly taking their jobs as seriously as if the restaurant were their own.
To me, that is very rare and nice to see as a paying customer.
I would definitely go back next time I am craving a burger.
To immerse whoever is reading this in the setting:
We walk in and the place is curiously sticky in various spots, which should’ve been the first clue for us not to dine here, but we did anyway. The place is NOT busy. The staff is blasting vulgar music, which wouldn’t be a problem if the songs were good or enjoyable to listen to. So not only was it inappropriate for the families trying to eat with their children, it was objectively bad music taste.
Now, as we approach the register waiting to place our order, we notice two customers in front of us. Keep them in mind for later.
We place our order at 6:55PM. The man taking our order kept interrupting my girlfriend whenever she was trying to order, and then, finally, when it was my turn to order, he rudely stuck his finger in my face and said “yall gotta wait.” So we waited for about 5 minutes, which is fine, not really complaining about that. When he came back, he took our order with an attitude. Two burgers, two sides, and two drinks came up to about 40 dollars, which I understand is normal in today’s economy, but DEFINITELY not worth it. Please save your money and go elsewhere.
We sit down, bench is still slightly sticky and damp. We wait, and wait, and wait for our food. We end up getting our burgers and tots at about 7:30. This fast food run turned into a full sit down dinner! The staff member that took our order also delivered our food to our table. He brings the wrong food. When my girlfriend told him it was wrong, he told her “no it’s not”. Thankfully I kept the receipt, and showed him our order. It was, in fact, the wrong food. He takes his sweet time correcting his mistake. Keep in mind, the place is not very busy. Another staff member approached us, I’m sure with good intentions. He started apologizing for the one who took our order’s behavior. He personally went out to grab our sides and everything which was nice. However, when he returned, he started talking very negatively about the one who took our order. I won’t go into details here but that conversation should’ve been between him and a manager, not a customer. Once we actually look at our food, we get quite uncomfortable, growing a distrust for the people handling our food. The distrust turned into disgust, and we start to leave. The two customers we noticed earlier in line, were still waiting for their food by the time we were on our way out. We went to chik fil a instead and got a cheaper meal with staff that seems to actually care about their jobs.
In conclusion, food was abnormally greasy, atmosphere was pretty gross, and the staff seemed like they would rather do anything but do their minimum effort job. Don’t go here, please.
