This was the best sushi we’ve tried so far. We stopped here once just to try it, and it was so good that we came back again for more sushi and poke. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made from scratch. We will definitely be coming back again. You can check their hours of operation daily on their Instagram page. Highly recommend!

This was our first sushi stop on our Maui vacation it did not disappoint. I was unaware of the delicious sushi the island had to offer and Smash Maui is right near the top of sushi restaurants. The rolls we got here big, filling, and had plenty of fresh local fish. They take their time in sushi prep out of a food truck. Tables are available for seating. Don’t miss this sushi spot on Maui.

We got the Haleakala roll and garlic chicken plate, it was genuinely the best food we’ve had in Maui. I can also confidently say it’s the best sushi I’ve ever had. The service was amazing, the atmosphere was great. 10/10 would recommend everyone try it out!!

The food here is so good, and the person we saw both nights was super friendly. Yes, we liked Smash Maui so much that we went two nights in a row, for two of the five nights we were on Maui. Not much is really “cheap” on Maui, but Smash Maui’s prices are great, totally comparable to good sushi at home. And, again, it’s really really good.
I think somewhere it says like “pick-up only,” which maybe is something to know? There are maybe three, four picnic tables. If one is free and it’s nice out, you can eat there. We did both nights, it was great.

Phenomenal sushi at a great price. I had the smash roll and salmon nigiri and was so impressed. The fish is delicious and fresh and the rolls are well done. Highly recommend for a delicious lunch or dinner. We stopped by 15 min to closing and still had high quality and delicious food. A true gem!

We had the spicy hamachi bowl, garlic salmon bowl, smash roll, and Cali roll. Everything was phenomenal and super fresh. The flavors were thoughtfully curated and unique from anything I’ve ever had in a poke bowl. 10/10 recommend! We will definitely be back!

Smash Maui blew me away! The poke was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and generously served—hands down the best I’ve ever had. I also tried their sushi rolls (the Lahaina and Haleakala rolls) ans the nigiris and they were out of this world—so fresh, perfectly balanced, and beautifully made.
The staff was friendly, the service fast, and the vibe super chill. Plenty of shaded picnic tables and easy parking made it even better. A true hidden gem in Lahaina—worth every bite.I wish they had a location in my city. I would go every week!

The sushi was so fresh and delicious! We got the Haleakala Roll, The Dynamite Roll, The Dragontail Roll and The Baked Shrimp Dynamite and it was all amazing! We couldn’t pick our favorite because they were all so good! You should definitely go here!

Will take this over any fancy omakase spot. Lahaina roll was simply a perfection. The portions are huge, great amount of fish per roll. There is a nice lounge spot where you can sit and enjoy the meal. It was the best sushi I’ve tried.

Nice little food truck tucked away in Lahaina. The Ahi Bowls were very good. Sushi was fresh. Parking is a bit difficult but there are a few picnic tables in the shade to eat at as well as a giant connect four game for kids to play.
