You have not lived until you have had these Beignets. They are easily the best that I’ve ever had, no competition. The Man working today I believe it the owner and he is so polite and generous. He even gave us some free fingers for the wait. The place is so cute and quaint and filled with local art that is for sale by local artists. What really sets this place apart is that the artists get 100% of the proceeds. The music selection was great and the bathrooms were immaculate. I am making it a tradition to come here anytime we are in BR.

Family loved this place. The owner was awesome and so friendly. The beignets were awesome and he doesn’t hold back on the powdered sugar. If you like beignets, this is your place!

Today is my little girl’s birthday, we went in and ordered a small order of toes, and the owner ended up making her a beignet in the shape of a 9 and another beignet with a candel in it, he played Happy Birthday for her on the piano and sang, he also lit the candle for her to blow out. The beignets are always delicious and he is always beyond nice whenever we go but this definitely topped everything! Thank you so much for making my sweet girl’s day even more special ❤️

Cute mom and pop place. Don’t expect some fancy set up. It’s either for a quick bite there or pick up. The beignets tasted great. The owner is so cute and friendly.

Rue Beignet was a surprisingly flavorful place to get good Louisiana beignets outside of the French Quarter. The service was awesome. The owner, Yen, (¥) was personable and made sure my hospitality experience and tasty food order was top notch. I ordered the beignets and a hot latte and all were made to perfection (finger beignets were also added to my order at no charge). When my order arrived at my table, the presentation was so beautiful , I, at first, did not want to eat them because they looked to pretty. Anyway, I would definitely return when I’m back in Prairieville.

Such a cute little beignet cafe in a quiet plaza. The frozen café au lait is perfectly sweet and a great companion to the hot and fresh beignets. This store is run by friendly and hardworking staff – they’re open 364 days a year (only taking Christmas off), so you can get your fried dough and coffee fix almost any day of the year. The tables are nice and clean even though they serve fried dough covered in powdered sugar. There’s local art for sale on the walls and a cute little piano in the corner. A wonderful place to sit, have a coffee, and eat some beignets while you contemplate life. For local artists, you can put your art for sale here!

Very good beignets. Loved the option for toppings. The server was very nice and gave us a juggling lesson! Loved the decor too – lots of artwork for sale on the walls and a cute interior. Will definitely return the next time we’re in town!

We can’t leave LA without having beignets! They were perfect! Hot and delicious! First time here though. The girls taking our orders at the register were a little shy maybe? Very quiet which seemed a tad stand-offish. But otherwise super cute coffee shop! So glad we found you!

Yen did amazing, thank you again!
Eating these made me feel so nostalgic. They were so fluffy on the inside.
I had authentic beignets when I was younger and my mom used to make them for me.
We are passing through and I’m so glad we stopped here. We got the dozen.
I highly recommend!
