Made a 70$ order just now and the cupcakes were only soft at the bottom . They seemed old. I paid for the 6 assorted cupcakes and basically got the same cupcake with different icing and sprinkles no variety . The chefs pick was another plain pick. The Dubai cookie was hard. And the Dubai cups are made with chocolate icing and chocolate syrup not real chocolate. This was my first time trying them and I’m very disappointed.

Received a text for the new Dubai Chocolate strawberry cup so I went to pick one up. This is a 20oz cup which originally had four pieces of strawberry and completely filled with chocolate frosting and pistachio cream. (Actually might be green peanut butter) $15 for 2 strawberries and frosting. So I returned and the lady behind the counter added a couple more strawberries to the top which is the pictures I’ve added. Save your money this is not worth it.

Thank you Small Cakes for making such a beautiful cake, not to mention delicious! Every time I go into the Missouri City location the service is always great, and there are so many great flavors to choose from. Definitely a go to for anytime I need a cake or cupcakes, I even get the pup cakes for my dogs birthdays also, so much fun and they love it!

I never had a bad batch from this place until now. I ordered via DoorDash and immediately noticed the cupcakes all had a terrible sour taste. I thought maybe it was me, since this place never gave me bad cupcakes before, but even the rest of my family tasted it. We ended up trashing the whole box cause nobody could stomach it. I’m disappointed how drastically the quality dropped and won’t be ordering from here again.

The cup cakes and the cakes are made fresh everyday in store, NOT Defrosted Cakes. Always fresh.

3 cupcakes & a cup of sliced Strawberries with a chocolate ganache syrup $29. As a fellow business owner I get it. The cupcakes were good. Attention to detail is important. The fruit and chocolate cup is waaaaay overpriced, $14. The Strawberries were breaking down almost masserated. Should be prepared fresh especially in light of the pricetag. Chocolate, good chocolate, isn’t cheap. I know because I purchase it for my business. All in all the cupcakes were good, fruit cup was gross and the pricetag for all of it was a reflection of the terrible economy we now survive since 2020. Best wishes for your business.

For my first time trying it I was expecting more than what I got. I ordered 2 strawberry minis and 3 wedding cake minis and the taste of all of them was so disappointing. The cupcakes tasted old not fresh at all. Maybe I will try another location but to me it’s not worth the hype.

I initially went in a week before placing my order so I could try their cupcakes. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The choices are endless and they helped me narrow them down to suit my needs. I ended up ordering 24 mini cupcakes and a 6inch strawberry cake for my daughter’s birthday. The mini cupcakes were done very well. I chose vanilla, strawberry, chocolate and red velvet. The flavors were on point and decoration was uniform, those were devoured the same day by some very appreciative toddlers.
The 6inch cake was for the next day and it tasted exceptional, even better than it looked. It was a moist and flavorful strawberry cake with jelly filling. I appreciated their manager reaching out and ensuring everything was done to my liking. I’ll be back in a few months for another birthday cake and in the meantime if I ever get the craving for cupcakes this is where I’ll be headed!

I loved this place until today. I’ve ordered from here many times before and they had always been great but today they disappointed me. I ordered two strawberry and two red velvet cupcakes and one of the strawberry cupcakes looked like the icing had been licked and the wrapper was already loose around it, I pulled it down and it looked like someone had bitten a chunk out of the side of the cupcake and pulled the wrapper back over it (photos attached) I was thoroughly disgusted and threw it away of course. Despicable. And i’ve basically been cheated out of a cupcake. I’ll just make my own cakes at home from now on. I try to support small businesses when I find a good one but once quality goes, so do I!
