I was staying at the Richmond Westin and one evening after having a business dinner elsewhere. I stopped in at this bar for dessert before heading up to my room. I wanted some sambuca, but they had none, which is disappointing. I did see a banana bread pudding dessert, so I opted for that. The single bartender who was working was crazy busy that it took him about 15 minutes to put in my order, then by the time I got it, it was cold, as it took another 15 minutes for him to finally run back to the kitchen to get it.
They were quite busy that evening, but that’s not my problem, nor his… There was a server handling the dining room area and I think that was all I saw. They really need better staffing and MUCH BETTER MANAGEMENT, as running out of a popular digestif in a popular hotel really isn’t acceptable.
The flavor of my banana bread pudding was nice, but the temperature messed it up. Overall, I’m glad I wasn’t tied to “having to eat here” like other business travelers might be… There’s very little in the close area and nothing in walking distance from here. But I’ll not ear here again. I visit the Richmond area very often for business and though I liked the hotel stay, I didn’t like this experience, so I’d probably choose to stay at the downtown Richmond Marriott or the Short Pump Hilton next time instead, just because both have a true “full service” offering, including a nice bar.

Come here every year for a coworker reunion and always enjoy the service. It is located in the lobby of the Westin Hotel. Ample seating in a laid back classy atmosphere. Seats are comfortable with a very classic breakfast menu. I got the Classic American breakfast with the savory maple bacon! My side was a fruit cup that tasted as if they had just picked the fruits from their respective trees. The whole wheat toast was a thick cut fulfilling portion. My wife got the Eggs Benedict that was decorated with fresh arugula with a hint of olive oil. Every item on their menu is a hit and the good thing is you can go up to your room and take a nap after this delicious meal.

Everything my was great! Service was very nice and friendly as well as attentive. The food was delicious , all flavors blend in very well and not so bad portion for prices. We got the salmon and the crab cake meal. Both delicious! This was during a week day and so it wasn’t super packed on the dinning area. Perfect for celebratory reasons. A bit pricey however its worth it! Quick service as well and alcoholic drinks are also delicious! A must try if your around!

Came here to eat some breakfast and work after dropping my car off for some repairs. Service was wonderful! The vibe was great too; it’s a beautiful dining area.
I got the avocado toast and it was sooo tasty. Perfectly seasoned and the avocado tasted fresh. The poached egg was one of the best I’ve ever had with a perfectly cooked white and a very runny yolk.

Very quiet night. Server was attentive and refilled drink without being asked. Had brussel sprouts as an appetizer which were fine, but not as crispy as I prefer. Ordered the salmon for the appetizer. They accommodated my request to modify the entree by substituting low carb options. Server asked how I wanted the temp of the salmon so I ordered med-rare. It came out medium, but wasn’t a big enough issue to complain.

We attend for thanksgiving. Staff makes the meal and the meal is amazing. Thanks to you ll and grateful for your table. Thanksgiving is a vast buffet w everything for vegans to meat eaters alike. Cheese table and dessert always amazing also.

Evi was an excellent host…the food came quickly and was well prepared with outstanding presentation. Our chefs definitely knew what they were doing…if I had to have a criticism, it was that the main course came before we had a chance to adequately eat our appetizers… that being said I’m probably coming back for breakfast

Restaurant is inside of the Westin. Nice ambiance, laid back atmosphere. Decent service, out of Cabernet. Crabcake sandwich was a generous portion. Tofu entree was okay.

Our waitress was great and very accommodating! It’s located in a hotel, to your left as you walk in the front door. The food left some to be desired. The back fin pasta was sour with a thick layer of Parmesan that I had to send back. The 8oz hanger had no flavor. The fried pickles lacked salt and the wings were just okay. The smashed burger isn’t as smashed as you might hope for. The drinks, wings, onion rings and mozzarella sticks were tasty.
