Glad I didn’t judge this place by it’s exterior, because the food is SO good. The husband loved the bacon Hawk sushiritto, and said he would get the exact thing again. The two rolls I got were also delicious. I will no doubt come back here!

Excellent! Delightful owner Sam and wife run good restaurant indeed! Clean, Undiscovered Gem ! Good rolls… I got the spider with the whole crab cut up in it.. well prepared. Well above average teriyaki chicken with a well presented salad and correctly done rice.. AND good yummy tempura veggies with asparagus, sweet potatoes, broccoli, mushrooms, at a reasonable price and NO WAIT!
The blue walls and shielded outside atmosphere is quiet and inviting. There is a single TV in in the middle of a big huge deep sea blue wall.. awesome to go as the smoke shop is right next door and classic arcade across the parking lot. There is serenity and live here. So, the outside of this place is mad sus. BUT the food is AMAZING!!!
The quality of the fish and the care in preparation are absolutely 5 Stars all the way.
If you have been looking for that amazing, great priced sushi, this is it.
Honestly, I have been judging this book by its cover for years and really regret it.
Service was fast and the chef was super friendly.
Check out the picture of the roll I took, just look at the color of that tuna. Wow! ( I meant to take pictures of the other rolls we ordered, but we ate them too fast.
Best quality I’ve seen in years and I’ve eaten sushi all over North America.
Go here, eat lots of sushi, every bit will be delish.
Oh, and the wasabi is HOT!

I got the Dragon Roll, Edamame, and a modified Tiger Roll with my mom. The portions of ingredients were fantastic! Lots of crab, avocado and eel- they didn’t skimp on quantity or quality. The sushi was absolutely delicious. We are not from around here and were so impressed. Totally coming back if I’m in the area!

Playboy! Such fresh salmon and crab! We love this place! Sushi doesn’t normally travel well and we haven’t had much of it since the start of the quarantine. Since we found SM we can enjoy a perfectly constructed fresh roll in the privacy of our backyard! Thank you! We will be back soon!

Excellent sushi! We ordered delivery from here a few nights ago and I gotta say I was impressed with the quality. Everything we got was delicious and tasted extremely fresh. The shrimp tempura was probably my favorite part as it has been quite some time that I have found a restaurant with the same quality as the NY sushi restaurant I used to work in years ago. The sushi was also bomb too, tasted so fresh. This place is definitely great when craving some good Japanese style food. Highly recommended!

The service was really friendly and cute. I love supporting small businesses and this was definitely a good choice. I would recommend the dragon roll, the cucumber was really fresh and the eel tasted amazing. The portion size was filling. Overall a very good sushi place if you want to go support small business (which you should). 🙂

I need you to understand I’ve developed an emotional dependency on SM Sushi’s food. Straight up. The food here is always prepared quick and with care, skill, and quality and I’ve been coming for at least a year (often ordering multiple times a month). The owners are the loveliest people who have always been the ones making my food. The ingredients they use are delicious and thoughtfully paired (and fantastically portioned) so naturally I order as often as possible. My personal favorites are the sushi burritos. It’s the ultimate local sushi place. I will always appreciate the skill and craft of the owners!!

Holy shieeet this place is incredible value. If you’re looking to come here for a date and have a nice atmosphere and dine in experience, you’ll be disappointed. If you’re looking for low dollar high value sushi you’ll be very satisfied.
We got 3 of their special rolls togo for $40. The crunchy Tuna was 3/5, crunchy California 4.5/5, and Playboy was 5/5. This will be a weird detail, but I’ve never liked cucumber in rolls, and the cucumber in the Playboy was fresh like it was just picked and added more to the roll than I’ve had before. It wasn’t just crunchy and lightly cucumber flavored, but refreshing like in a cold cucumber salad and leaned toward crisp. The rolls were neatly packed, didn’t fall apart, and didn’t look like the inside of a sausage with indistinct fillings. The cream cheese looked like it was a tiny rectangle block, like the ones you learn to count with as a kid. Tobiko, tuna, salmon, fish cake all was fresh. Bacon on the Tuna Crunch was refrigerated and could have been a day or two old (I’ve had my fair share of prepped refrigerated bacon bits from keto dieting).
If this place did catering I would have loved to have them at my wedding for an open bar type deal to do just 3 different rolls and nigiri tuna, salmon, and shrimp.
Killer value at this place. Not the best sushi I’ve had (I’ve been to Nobu, Sushisamba, and Takashi) but at this price point, it’s barely below Itto Sushi in Midvale.
