Start off with a welcoming, lovely lady taking your order. On to the guy doing the cooking, who may not be much to look at, but DANG can that boy COOK! I’ve tried several items and I can’t decide what is my favorite. EXCELLENT appetizers; ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS po-boys that I can never finish in one sitting (and I’m a fat boy that eats like two billy goats); heck, even the sweet tea is just right. In short, no complaints and high praises. They’ll have to shut down to keep me from coming back!

We found this Gem by accident wanting some catfish for supper. The service was good , the food was Great, the hush puppies were the best we’ve had. Mother and Son business both make awesome creamy coleslaw and potato salad, it’s worth searching them out for a good meal.

Their fried fish is awesome!!! My husband loves their boiled shrimp, my daughter always gets the popcorn shrimp, and my son gets chicken strips… we all share an order of fried oysters… the coleslaw is the best … oh yeah their sweet tea is excellent

Awesome Experience
This little take out place was perfect for our family as we were traveling. The workers are friendly and the food was awesome. We had a catfish plate – the breading is light and the fish was fluffy (not fishy at all). We had popcorn shrimp – they were so good, not what I expected. These are real shrimp lightly battered and fried. So good. Hush puppies are good, fries taste homemade and potato salad is a sour cream base with a slight smoky taste.
Called ahead, was ready in 5 min.

Boiled shrimp was okay. But the potatoes where half raw and tasted as if they sat out for hours. I will not be getting food here again. And I do not recommend.

First time eating here while visiting a relative and we were very disappointed. We ordered 52$ worth of food and our fish plates were so gross. The fish was so tiny and basically a pile of breading with no fish . The fries were cold and the pickles were so thin they were basically breading and grease. Will not ever be returning here again! Would love to get a refund on this mess…
