This place is the place to if you like smoked brisket or pulled pork or 5 star chili the sign say beer and barbeque but that’s just the begining the food is excellent the staff are great and the atmosphere is way beyond anywhere else in Chico. I give this place a 10 out of ten double what these other places in Chico who got 4.5 or 5 rating go check it out yourself you won’t be sorry

This is my new favorite restaurant in Chico! The food is amazing. I have not had something I have not liked after trying a few different things on the menu. The staff is friendly and so helpful. I took food to go and ate inside. Both were great experiences. I have tried the steak sandwich, the bone in and boneless wings, and the bucking bowl. All were delicious and the portions are plenty.

Probably the best BBQ spot I’ve ever visited. The chili was off the chain — smoky, meaty, thick and delicious! The brisket was smoky, tender and went perfectly with the different sauces, which were their own taste adventure. Green beans and bacon! Gotta love that. All our other dishes were great too. Great casual atmosphere and the owner takes great pride in his work.

This place was fire. Decided to try it out for lunch and we were happily surprised. Best chicken sandwich I’ve had in a while. Took a while to get the food, but it was obviously made from scratch and worth the wait! The spicy BBQ sauce was Amazing. Mac n cheese was on point as well. We will be coming back.

Great food. We asked for a pastrami sandwich off the menu. It was worth asking for it again. They list burgers, btews, and bbq. We didn’t want beer nor burgers.hubby has the pastrami sandwich, which I sampled for this review. I ordered chili and garlic parmesan fries. Must try. Super delish. Added cheese and onions. It was delish and it did not upset my stomach when I went home. Water to drink and some rootbeer. Reasonably priced. Lunch for two $30 ish.
Place was bar like. Super clean including bathrooms. Service was attentive and customer centered. Music, if any wasn’t there or loud. Silent Sports on TV. We went around 430pm. No crowd but families were there. Parking could be limited but found if needed. Menu was crowded. It took us a while to read. Great variety.
We will return. Recommended for a visit.

Just hit up Slyderz on Nord Ave – so Good! The Stockyard burger was insanely juicy and packed with flavor, and the Dixie Chick was perfectly spiced. Every bite was amazing. You gotta try this place! They only opened a month ago in the old Taj Indian food location. Grand Opening is on June 1st at 10:30am

The brisket, green beans and pulled pork was good. The wings are not great and my baked potato was burnt. My buffalo wings was not served and was given bbq wings instead. My server was wonderful though and super sweet.
