Hands down some of the best donuts we’ve ever had -definitely worth coming for and absolutely worth the hype. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and delicious.
The Viking Cup is a 10/10 and a must-try. We also tried the almond one, which was fresh, flavorful, and amazing. You can really tell the quality is there.
If you’re in Poulsbo, this place is definitely worth stopping by!

Super cute cookies for Valentines Day! Goods are fresh and delicious. Awesome bread variety. Staff was friendly and active. From customer side, it was confusing who was next in line since they had a register that was prepackaged things only, but it wasnt labeled or announced when calling for next in line.

One day the line was out the door and around the corner for hours. The next morning, we walked right in. So be flexible on when you go.

The viking cup = a delicious cinnamon roll/bun

Visited the beautiful town of Poulsbo, also known as Little Norway , and absolutely loved it❤️ We stopped by this famous Sluys Bakery, which definitely lives up to the hype-everything was delicious (my favorite was fruit cake).
Highly recommend visiting this place.

First time trying this popular bakery. I had the most Delicious pastry. The staff was super friendly and patient with me even though they were so busy. I had a great experience and can’t wait to come back and try something else.

My wife and I walked over to the shop area down by the water and ran across Sluys and stopped in to pick up pastry for the next morning. We each got a Viking Cup and they were terrific. The only downside was I couldn’t try a few more items, because it all looked great.

The lines let you know, this is the place to go. Or just follow your nose!

We had to wait about ten minutes in the middle of the week, in the middle of the day. So, not bad. Just enough time to try to make up your mind. (I always want to buy too many things but can’t eat them fast enough for them to stay fresh. I need to pace myself!)

My husband loved the date coconut cookies, even though he’s not usually a fan of sweets.

The sour cream doughnut and the peanut butter cookies were mine all mine! I also got a pecan roll, which I gobbled up too fast to get into the photo.

The bill for everything came to just over $10.

Absolutely a delight. Amazing sweets and breads. Service that you probably did not think you could even find these days. Viking Cups, pecan rolls, cinnamon roles, donuts, cookies and so many breads. Arrive early to make sure they still have what you are searching for.

It is worth the hype! Only issue is picking what not to get. Delicious pecan rolls and scones with berry filling.

We came for the cheesecake which my wife and her mom have been buying for many years. It was very tasty with its lemon brightness. But my son and I didn’t like how “cloud-like” it was. Just too soft for our taste. The scone was a bit of a letdown too as it tasted very plain on the outside. Though the inside fruit flavor filling was delicious. The best part was the super fresh chocolate covered donut!! Holy moly it was good!

Very cool, old Norwegian/German village-esque atmosphere up and down the main street. Beautiful and nostalgic.
