Good place for a fast paced asian meal. I love how varied the menu is. They have miso soups and ramen, sushi, and so much more. They also have awesome winter specials, and I highly recommend the matcha tiramisu. Its great. Their sushi and soup is great too. The only downside is the business. It is super busy and loud, and there is a waitlist most of the time. But they provide fast service, and the food is served really fast too.

We came mid afternoon and it was a full house, they somehow still got us seated quickly and the appetizer came out within a few minutes. Absolutely delicious and the staff were all so welcoming. The duck fat fried chicken was so tender and delicious! I got the salmon poke roll and it was filling and flavorful. My husband had the Hakata Tonkatsu and added a side of pork belly, he said he’d rate this 11/10.

One of the best sushi places in SE Michigan. I had Sashimi, so fresh and tasty. The tuna and salmon rolls are legit, non imitation, soooo good! Worth the wait, cuz always a line.

Great food, with a nice variety. So much more to the menu than just ramen. Each item was amazing! Sushi choice was really unique and I enjoyed the ramen which is not something I normally like. Highly recommend if your ever in Ann Arbor!

Slurping turtle is my favorite ramen in the U.S.! I travel a lot for work, and ramen is one of my comfort foods. This place stands strong as my #1! I always order the Tokyo Shoyu, but the Tonkatsu is delicious as well. Broth is rich and flavorful. Noodles are perfect, and I always have enough for leftovers. Wonderful cocktails as well.

Side note, this place is busy all the time! Expect to wait 20-30 minutes lunch or dinner, more on a weekend. But, it is 100% well worth it.

Such a unique establishment with a friendly staff, unique set-up, and delicious food that is one of a kind. The bite of the Salmon belly and the octopus fritters were on a whole different level. We will definitely be back soon to try the other dishes!

Recommended by Japanese coworkers because they said it is authentic place for ramen. It is a real deal. Noodle is made in house so is the broth. This type of quality and flavor is rare to find.
Noddle is al dente, but not rubbery like the one you buy from the store. Because they are fresh. Soup you can drink the whole bowl if you want.

I also had the fried chicken appetizer because the ramen is not very big serving. Fried chicken is ok pairing with their dipping sauce. Even though it is marinated, there are other places that had better fried chicken.

The food was all decent but nothing was incredible, or really compelling. The poke bowl i ordered (California) came looking fru fru but not super tasty. It was ok. For 20 bucks it was lacking in rice surprisingly and a bit bland. I would return with someone else but it wouldn’t be the top of my personal list.

I was NOT expecting the Ramen to be this good. Mine had pieces of fried chicken and was a touch spicy. It was amazing. The pictures show food that’s mostly eaten, cause that’s what happens when you’re not faking and the food is yummy. Our server (Kevin) was amazing:)

We had a great experience. The quality–price ratio of the food is excellent, and the service was even better. We had a reservation, but our group size increased at the last minute. Despite the change, the staff handled it smoothly and were able to accommodate us without any issues.

I ordered the classic ramen, and it was a solid, comforting choice. It was well-balanced, but next time I will try adding some add-ons.

Overall, highly recommended for both the food and the service.
