My family and I were passing through the area and found this place on Google Maps. After reading the reviews, we decided to give it a try—and I’m so glad we did! The food truly surprised and delighted us. We ordered several dishes, and everything was absolutely delicious. The brisket was perfectly smoked with an amazing flavor, and all the sides were incredibly tasty—each one better than the last. The prices were also very reasonable. The restaurant has two seating areas: an indoor space that smelled amazing but was quite warm that day, and an outdoor area near the bar with a beachy vibe. We chose to sit outside, and the whole experience was really enjoyable. Highly recommend it!

This place was highly recommended. We drove 1-1/2 hours from Kissimmee (where we were on vacation) to go to the beach and decided to eat at Slow and Low. We weren’t disappointed. We ordered the pork and brisket combo with corn muffins, fried okra and a baked sweet potato, a Mexican chicken bowl, baby back ribs with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese, and a brisket sandwich with cole slaw on it and tots for the side. Everything was delicious. The waiter was nice and attentive. We don’t typically get dessert, but decided to try some. We ordered the chocolate Oreo cake, deep fried banana split and deep fried bread pudding. The first two were good, but oh my goodness, the deep fried bread pudding is DIVINE. It was worth the trip in itself.

Dining is available on their relaxed, covered, open-air patio, with several tables surrounding a prominent bar. The half-rack of babyback ribs I ordered had good flavor but could have used a little more time in the smoker — ditto on my my second visit. The server was friendly and mostly competent, but disappeared when we were ready for the bill. Prices are not cheap, but not unreasonable either.

This place rocks. They have great pulled pork. Make sure you try the chicken wings. I believe they are smoked and fried. Very good stuff. Very nice outside and inside dining. Lovely bar with friendly people outside. Love this spot.

Excellent choice! Food was great! Ribs were tender and tasty. Baked beans had actual pork meat in them. The Beast sandwich was also delicious! It has pulled pork, sausage, cole slaw, onions, and fried pickles in it. Jess provided excellent service. I’d come back to this hidden gem in a heartbeat.

First visit here. Asked to sit outside because inside smelled musty. Outside seating had several tv’s and a bar. The guy at the front who seated us was so nice! Our waitress was nice but not as attentive. 1/2 chicken was okay. would be so much better if it was smoked so it lacked flavor. The BBQ sauces were good. Garlic mashed potatoes had no garlic flavor. Same for the garlic toast. It just tastes like buttered toast. The corn on the cob tastes like water. My daughter LOVED the kid’s Mac and cheese. Their waffle cut fries are good and crispy. The burnt ends appetizer was good, but super small for $9.99.

we LOVE slow and low! we have been coming here every year for years when we vacation in cocoa beach! the BBQ is always great however we got the mashed potatoes which were a little dry which probably could’ve been fixed by adding butter, either way the food was great, and the service was great
