One of the Top 3 coffee shops ive been to in the world. This statement is purely based on the coffee available and not selection(only two available Roasters at the time). They source from different Roasters from around the world and they were top notch. Pour overs are precise and absolutely delicious. This is not Starbucks and I purely search out pour overs and single origin coffee when I travel.(pics of coffee I bought)

By far the best traditional espresso and coffee in Boise. I’ve been coming here for years and honestly wish I stopped in more often.
The atmosphere is excellent – relaxed and inviting, perfect for spending time on a day off. Plus, it’s within walking distance of all the great shops in downtown Boise, which makes it an ideal stop while you’re out and about.

5 stars across the board!⭐️ staff and I believe the owners are extremely welcoming and kind- NO pretentious baristas here! My vanilla latte was presented to perfection, Espresso didn’t taste burnt and the latte wasn’t over sweetened. The atmosphere is mellow, music isn’t too load, modern vintage decor. These guys exceed expectation and have this spot dialed in! Great place for business meet, studying, or a casual coffee date!

Very good experience here. The guys working the counter were very friendly and helpful, professional. I had the “Wise Guy” which I highly recommend. I sat outside in front in the sun and watched the world go by… lots of cyclists and folks just walking and enjoying the morning. It’s worth a stop on a nice day.

If you’re a coffee nerd this is the spot for you. The roasts are really special. The notes listed on the menu truly shine in each sip. My husband ordered the shot + pour and I ordered a vanilla latte. We both enjoyed our drinks. We also ordered a danish. It looked better than it tasted – just a little soggy but had it been fresh I’m sure it would have been perfect. The baristas were kind and took time to answer my husband’s questions about grind size and water to coffee ground ratios.

In my opinion, the best coffee place in town. I always love the seasonal drinks and my husband loves their pour overs and especially loves to peruze their ever changing selection of wild and zany coffee beans. The staff are also always friendly and helpful!

I went to check out the new Slow by Slow coffee bar renovations. The building is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and kind. What I was surprised about was paying $10.50 for a 12oz hot coffee, this didn’t even include the tip. The espresso was very sour and I ended up not wanting to drink the whole drink due to the odd taste. Overall I appreciate the staffs kindness, but will not be back due to the prices from what seems like an underwhelming cup of coffee.

Beautifully curated space with an amazing selection of coffees. I’m a sucker for the perfect glassware and serving trays, too. Baristas are always so friendly and the space is so cool, like what are you even doin if not getting coffee at slow by slow !!!

Yes you can get specialty coffee in Boise and in my experience this is the best place for it. Fantastic espresso options. My go to order in any shop I visit is a Cortado and a drip. Some of my favorite Cortados, anywhere, have been pour at Slow by Slow.

Guys. Idk what to tell you it’s the best coffee in the state. We’ve been to several of the brick and mortar European roasters they’ve featured and somehow they do a better job than source roast houses in Amsterdam and Berlin. Most recently Germany, seeking specialty shops in the cities – not impressed. Coming home and coming here for our weekend brew (flat white for direct comparisons) was refreshing and showed how consistent and outstanding Slow by is. Their methods shine through even in adulterated drinks like sweetened iced lattes. Super friendly and approachable for non coffee nerds. Keep it up ❤️
