Went here on rainy day. The interior combined with the coffee was perfect setup for connecting with a friend after 6 months and catching up on all we could.
Ordered sloppy plate and french toast. Bacon was really good and french toast was amazing as well.
Would definitely go here again for the food and ambience.

Server wasn’t writing anything down and kept forgetting things, she also seemed mad about serving us. Her name is Hailey, and never checked on us and threw the check when we asked for it. The bun on my burger was completely torn apart before my first bite.

Absolutely love this gem! I brought my friends here and they absolutely love it! The staff is amazing and the food is delicious! They have fun mimosa flights flavors to choose from. All the flora inside is a wonderful touch. Definitely a must visit whenever I’m in Manhattan beach.

One of the best burgers I’ve ever had down here at the beach, the service is probably normally pretty good but his mother’s day and they were a little crowded little hard to get certain things, I think they should probably have larger portions of things like mayonnaise and mustard that they have out where you can get or help yourself because they get busy and don’t have time to get them to you. But everybody seemed to really enjoy their food in the atmosphere was nice.

As we were staying across the street, we just wanted an easy meal after a sixteen hours flight. Sloopys exceeded every expectation! We had delicious food in front of us within no time and especially the service from Hayley was impeccable. Whilst she was on her own in the service, she worked quickly and efficiently to help everyone as fast as possible with an everlasting smile. With tasty fries, an original crispy tuna burrito and a solid blue cheese burger, our evening was complete. Exactly what we needed! Would definitely recommend. Oh, and the music they played was banger after banger, great taste in oldies but goldies

After years of walking and driving by, we finally stopped into Sloopy’s Beach Café—and now it’s going into our regular rotation.
I had the French toast with fresh berries and a light chocolate drizzle—absolutely delicious. She had the pork shoulder eggs Benedict with breakfast potatoes. Everything was on point, especially paired with their house-made hot sauce (I ended up finishing the potatoes, no shame).
The garden-style seating just a few minutes from the beach gives it a calm, tucked-away vibe. We were the first ones in, and the quiet start made it easy to take the place in. Staff was friendly but chill—perfect for a peaceful morning.
Parking can be tricky, but being local helped. Can’t believe we waited this long to try it. Next visit: the burger.

Friendly staff and decent food, my friends and I tried the sushi burrito, zucchini sticks (skippable for me), sweet potato tots (just ok too) on the side, some bacon, waffles with fresh fruits (good if you want something sweet), overall it was an ok experience, we had to keep waving around to get the flies to go away which was a bit annoying. They’re also pretty busy so expect some wait time.
