Very clean, no dirty tables, there is a sign at the door when you walk in to seat yourself and do not sit at a dirty table. Food and coffee was hot and fresh.

Dang it! Ordered a kids chicken tenders meal yesterday and told the waitress double the fries because kids meal comes with 2 sides. Get all the way home no fries, call up there told manager call me back, does and tells me I didn’t pay for fries. So I spent 45 bucks on a pizza salad and kids meal “no fries” ok 15 on the pizza 10 salad that’s 25 so 10 bucks on 2 chicken tenders sounds about right. Remember to pay extra for your kids meal fries got it!

I’ve tried ’em all, and love ’em all. The Shack. Spencer’s. Courtesy Diner. Each a can’t miss.
But it doesn’t get any better than Slingers. They KILL omelets and hash browns and biscuits & gravy and pancakes. ALL the breakfast faves. And it’s a pretty drive 15 min south of Eureka. One of the pluses for me.
Pssst… if you order coffee, THEY LEAVE A THERMAL POT ON YOUR TABLE!

While in town for the day my wife was craving breakfast food. Thought to try Slingers for the first time as the reviews were overall good.
The Slammers were good. The hash browns are ok, scrambled eggs didn’t have any seasoning so all we tasted was liquid eggs most likely poured from a carton, bacon was a great size but they place it under the gravy so you end up getting soggy bacon. For soggy bacon, it wasn’t bad. The star of the slammer was the gravy. Now I can’t wait to try their biscuits and gravy. It taste real and is really really good, like something someone would make at home if they didn’t make sausage gravy.
The pancakes had that good diner taste. FYI the takeout box doesn’t come with syrup but I was heading to a house that had syrup so I wasn’t mad.
The french toast also had that good diner taste. They weren’t overloaded with cinnamon or powered sugar. FYI they also didn’t come with syrup.
I didn’t give 5 stars as it was good but at $30+ I’d wish for better hash browns, eggs and to include syrup (especially if I were going to a park to eat).

Great food, service and friendly place to eat. But, the owner of the building hasn’t put a money into upkeep on it. Walls and floor going to bathrooms is dirty and needs repair. Also no grab bars in bathroom for handicap people

Normally love this place but the older waitress must need to retire. My whole entire breakfast was cooked wrong she almost tossed it on the table didn’t come back until we were finished. Shes been there forever she should have been able to look at my plate and see it was wrong. Big big disappointment

If you love an old school diner vibe, this is it. Excellent service, always tasty eats. Haven’t had a bad meal here, ever.

Neat place with very reasonable prices, but my hamburger had an odd smell to it. It was almost as if it was made and stuck in the fridge for a couple of days. The server was kind but did not visit our table often. All this said, I would definitely go back and give it and shot because it just had a nice ma and pa homemade food feel to it.
