Each time I visit this location, I specifically request fresh fries. Unfortunately, although I am repeatedly told that the fries are fresh, when I receive my order they are often old, soggy, and appear to have been sitting in the bin for an extended period of time. This has now happened on four separate visits, and each time I have had to return to the counter and ask for a new order of freshly cooked fries.
Instead of allowing large batches of fries to sit and become stale, it would be more effective to cook them in smaller, progressive batches to ensure quality and freshness. Customers should not have to repeatedly return their food because it is cold or soggy.
As someone who works in food service at JBLM and regularly supports soldiers, I find this especially disappointing. Soldiers and customers deserve properly prepared food and professional customer service. Improving both the freshness of the food and the level of service would greatly enhance the experience at this location.

I was excited to try the chicken. I was disappointed to say it wasn’t all that. The sandwich was mediocre at best. Fries were old, and cold seasoning might have helped. The Mac and cheese had good flavor, but it turned bad when my son found hair.
They did give us a new Mac and offered fresh fries.

My husband just came and picked us up dinner from here well before y’all closed, 20 mins before, and he got a chicken tender meal and then the slim salad for me. unfortunately after he got gas and some things from the store and came home it was after y’all closed. but I opened a CARDBOARD BOX to find my “salad” was literally just mixed greens in a box and nothing else. upon looking up what the salad was supposed to look like it definitely isn’t just gross old pieces of lettuce in a cardboard box….he paid $21 and I didn’t even get a meal??

Never tried Slim Chucken before. This spot was unimpressive. Chicken was extremely dry, frys were not fresh and the tables were mostly dirty. Service was fine. Wouldn’t come back again for the food for sure.

The workers are always INSANELY rude, and have been the 3 years i’ve been on this base. I asked for the additional nutrition info (which on the menu it states “additional nutrional info available upon request”). They brought some guy out from the back and he said “what info do you need, its on the board” (the calorie range for my meal was 640-1370 cal which is the difference between one meal and 2 meals in calories alone). I was then told the board was a lie and that they didn’t have the information I requested… why is that even on the menu?? 0/10 service.

Husband just brought home dinner, just now. The wings are so dry its like they’ve been setting out for a while, and became jerky. Ontop of only getting half a severing of toast and that half had been picked on. Extremely disappointed in tonight’s dinner.

I used to love their food and thought they had the best chicken sandwiches ever. The past two times I have been there it has been horrible. The chicken went from thick and juicy to thin and dried out. I brought it to their attention but they remade it just as bad. I won’t be spending my money there anymore.

Update 2…**My wife loves chicken and asked if we could go back….for the love of Nancy, this guy was horrible. The rudeness is a requirement he for employment. NEVER going back! I’m so mad at myself now, I can’t see straight. Why!? It’s not hard to be nice! & tender’s are ridiculously small.
**Update 1…went back and thought I’d try it again. Same person, same rudeness-tone/Normal food court setup…new and modern looking. Clean and a little busy. 2 people in front of me. Rude! That’s my takeaway. Everything else was perfect, and this Rude person who represents the company up front was as unprofessional in her speaking and tone as one could be. It was good food…hot and fresh. The line was quick. But this person was so rude, this family won’t go back. If I want to be treated like that and spoken to like in the future…This is the place I will go.

It was last 2022 to 2023 when Slim chickens maintain their consistency when it comes to serving and taste of food and fries. It was tender, juicy and tasty. The fries are alway crispy. That was 2years ago. Now it’s chicken is soooo dry and the fries are soggy. Never go back to your place anymore.
