I had not previously visited this establishment, but my daughter-in-law shared a photograph of their banana pudding, which prompted us to choose it for dinner that evening. I selected the three tender meal with macaroni and cheese and toast. My husband opted for the five tender meal with fries and toast. Our child received the children’s macaroni and cheese, which included toast and chocolate milk. The chicken was exceptional, as was the ranch dressing. The toast, particularly, was delightful. It was garlic toast, which is a culinary masterpiece. Iykyk While the fries were excessively salty and the chocolate milk had an unpleasant taste, perhaps like soy milk, everything else was truly enjoyable. The macaroni and cheese was wonderfully creamy, and the desserts were superb. I decided to try all four, simply because I could. We typically do not revisit restaurants after an initial visit, finding them not worthwhile, but this establishment is one I would gladly return to. I might even go back just for the sheer pleasure of it.

I placed an almost $100 order from them and they confirmed my order at 11:36 am. I picked delivery (through their website) and it was delivered to me at 11:54 am. When my husband and I went to eat our chicken club sandwiches they were ice cold. We tried to microwave them but they had such a bad taste. I decided to call them which I never do, I asked for a refund on the chicken club sandwich meal and the 2nd chicken club sandwhich. I didn’t ask for a refund on the other food because it was fine. I just wanted a refund on what we couldn’t eat because they delivered food that was ice cold. The manager ruebon, told me he prepared our food and it was the delivery that made it cold. This food was beyond cooled down from the 6 minute drive it takes to get to our house from slims. His solution was making Fresh food (“again” ) and me coming to pick it up. I rejected that because I paid the delivery fee through their site and picked delivery because it’s a rainy day. So now my husband and I are without lunch because of this. The customer service was terrible and highly disappointing, we eat here once a week with delivery most of the time and never had this experience. We were loyal customers and it’s unfortunate that their lack of willingness to correct their mistake ruined our views on this restaurant. We won’t be returning. I could see him denying a refund if I requested that for the entire order but I didn’t do that. I asked for a refund on the food we could not eat.

This location has been my recent go to when I’m craving chicken. Doesn’t matter what time of day I come – the food is fresh and amazing. My fries are never soggy (huge Win). I happily pay the extra .39 for another side of ranch or honey mustard because it’s soooooo good. And the service, A+. I have yet to interact with someone there that isn’t amazing. Everyone is so friendly, polite and willing to help with immense patience. Way to go staff and management. It really shows the pride you take in your company. Highly recommend trying out Slim Chickens in Owasso.
