Here’s my honest review of this Slim Chickens location. I love coming here because the food is honestly amazing. I’ve been here twice, once on a busy Sunday and once on a quiet Tuesday. Both times were great in terms of taste, but I did notice a couple of things.
First off, the staff are super nice, but it felt like they could use more help. It took about two minutes for my order to be taken at the drive-thru, which isn’t a big deal, but when I pulled around, I noticed the same lady was handling everything herself. She was taking orders, filling drinks, and running the window. It would really help if there were a few more people to support her. Like someone doing drinks, a couple more cooks, or an extra person in the lobby, just so everything could run a bit smoother.
Also, the portion sizes were a bit off. On Sunday, my classic meal had plenty of fries, but on Tuesday, my Slim’s meal had fewer fries than I expected. Since I used to work at Slim Chickens, I know the usual portions, and it looks like the team might just need a little refresher on that.
And to corporate: I really, really love your strawberry milkshake. But if you’re going to make the drink smaller, it would be great if the price could go down a bit too, just to match. I’m also including some pictures; not so much to point out portions, but just to show how delicious everything looks. Hopefully these little tweaks will make my next visit even better. This was my first time trying Slim Chickens, and unfortunately, it was a pretty disappointing experience overall. On the positive side, I received friendly service at the counter when placing my order for the Buffalo Tender Mac Bowl meal. The garlic toast that came with the meal was also fantastic—crispy, buttery, and cooked perfectly.
However, the experience quickly went downhill from there. When the general manager brought my order to the table, she came across as rude and dismissive toward me, despite being noticeably friendly and upbeat with other patrons around me. It left a bad impression.
As for the meal itself, the flavor of the mac and cheese bowl was decent, but the noodles were noticeably overcooked and mushy. The chicken tenders had an odd, rubbery texture that made them pretty unappetizing. On top of that, the buffalo sauce wasn’t mixed in well at all—I only got spicy flavor in a few bites, and the rest was pretty bland.
To make things worse, while I was still actively eating, one of the employees tried to take my plate, making me feel rushed and unwelcome.
Overall, between the uneven food quality, uncomfortable service experience, and feeling rushed out the door, I doubt I’ll be returning to this location anytime soon.

Enjoyed my first time ever at Slim Chickens, hands down great. Customer service was exceptional. Kudos to the cashier, Jakyria. She made our visit enjoyable with her friendly, warm and professional personality. My chicken and waffle entree was made accurate, fresh to order and it was so delicious! The restaurant was nice, cozy and very clean. The staff was working diligently in caring for its customers and dashers. I rate this place 5/5 and would definitely come again if I travel to the area. Thank you!

Staff was super friendly, service was good. Chicken and fries were okay. The wings were nice size but i’m a breaded kinda guy so not having option was hurtful. Buffalo mac was an interesting idea. Not my cup of tea.

I usually love Slim Chickens. I don’t know if the woman who was working the drive through is having a bad day or what, but she was so rude that I drove away. She asked if we wanted to try the spicy tenders, but my husband didn’t understand her so he said a 5 piece tender combo, spicy. She replied with, “That’s what i just said.” in a very condescending tone. My husband ignored her tone and said a large combo. She then proceeded to say, “I said what number combo you want” again, in a very rude tone. At that point we drove away and went to Taco Bell instead.

Its crazy how every car get asked to pull up to get hot strips for a sandwich all the while is my Mac Bowl getting fresh chicken on it? This is crazy how 3 cars asked to pull up!! Every slims chicken is making it very hard to want to continue to give my business to any location!!!! Then to ask me to pull further up beyond the spot I already was parked is unbelievable. The whole park is to make it believable that they are clearing the orders quickly and they are not!!!! I ordered 2 simple things that I never had to be pulled up on & now today is crazy. I’m sitting here watching 3 cars behind me get they food handed and just watched a man hand his food back through the window I hope it was not my food entering someone else hands. Never will I return!!!!!!!

I was served cold food (fries and tenders) even though I ordered ahead of time and was made to wait in the drive thru. The food was definitely NOT cooked to order and your drive window staff is rude and doesn’t understand what her position is nor the importance of it. The counter staff was very pleasant. The manager on duty lacked skill and basic common sense to resolve a very simple problem, making a mediocre error even worse. I enjoy the makeovers your edifices have gone through, but something is lacking in training and leadership. I’ve tried ignoring it over the past year and attributed it to change of management/growing pains, but something great has been lost. I hope you find it again soon. Thanks!

Came in for a late dinner while driving through Little Rock. Had the family with me. Staff seemed very unhappy to be there. We didn’t know or notice but the lemonade and tea containers had already been emptied and cleaning sanitizing solution placed in them. No sign or anything. My wife thought she served herself lemonade and drank it turned out to be soap or whatever they used. I asked the manager and she said oh yeah it’s sanitizing water then just walked away. Very disappointed with the service. Didn’t even ask if she was ok or how much she drank. Not even an apology. We walked in around 8:45 pm. Door says they close at 10. Manager told us the lobby was already closed.

Overall, it was a great experience. Chicken was a little bit salty but not too much. Sauce is just right as well. The peach tea is awesome. Toast was slightly burnt though. Service is extremely fast but if they’re busy with other stuff like catering, they’ll let you know. Restaurant is clean but needs a little touch up.

Worst location in Little Rock. I go here to get my wife a salad that works at the nearby hospital. Every time I go it’s a problem. Me being understanding of what people go though that work in fast food I don’t say anything. This time I can not keep quiet. When I went I asked for the side salad. The staff gave me the wrong salad. So I don’t say anything. I pay for it. When I pull up to the window, they proceed to give me my order. I asked for a sack. They informed me that they don’t have any sacks. I was like ok cool. Then they handed me my food the container was greasy. I was like ok cool. I drop the food off to my wife. Later on that night she sent me a picture with a fly in her food. I wish management would clean this location up. A lot of hospital workers go there for convenience. The location looks dirty from the out side.
