Ordered food through the drive thru and when I got home, our chicken wasnt tossed in the buffalo sauce for our Mac bowls. Bridget, the manager was so kind and made sure we could get free entrees next time or she’d remake our entire order. These are the type of employees that need positive reinforcement for doing a great job and turning a not so good experience into a positive. The eagerness of all the employees here to help and provide a good experience is something to be proud of as an owner/manager. Keep up the good work!!

Great fast food place to eat. I come once to twice a week. The menu has enough variety to get something different and mix it up. Lots of customizations can be made too. The staff is always friendly and if something goes wrong, they are quick and eager to fix it.

Food was way too salty… except for the chicken sandwich, which somehow had zero flavor. Dry, bland, and definitely not worth it (but hey, that’s what the fries are for, right? ). I ordered the 5-piece chicken tender meal and only got 4 tenders — and yes, I was still hungry. I called to let them know, and they told me to drive back to pick up a single tender or they’d refund me for just one tender. Seriously? That’s what passes for customer service now?

Some of the nastiest chicken I’ve ever had. The chicken “strips” were the size of my toddlers hand. He wouldn’t even swallow his chicken, it was that bad. My husband and I were both desperate and hungry so we ate ours like idiots and are both now majorly regretting our decision at 3am on the toilet. The chicken is rubbery/slimy, the fries are too salty and were cold. The only decent thing was their cherry dessert. Do yourself a favor and go to Raising Cane’s instead.

It was our first visit. My husband got the wings without seasoning and said they were ok, but he should have got sauce. From the picture on the menu, he thought they would be breaded, but they weren’t. I got the 3 piece tenders. They were good. The interior color reminded me of Freddy’s. They had some great Blue’s music playing. Their tender menu is very similar in offerings and price to Canes. They don’t beat Canes, in my opinion, but they are a good second choice. I will make the extra trip to Canes in Johnston when they open.

I will start by saying this is a new restaurant in Ankeny and has only been open for a month on July 13th. I know there are going to be areas that need work. First and foremost drive through, took me 40 minutes from the time I got in line. Was nice they brought out my sweet tea, which was good once I got home to add more ice to make it cold.
I ordered the Chick’s meal..3 tenders I asked to get Cole slaw instead of FF, she couldn’t hear or didn’t understand. For I got both, I really don’t eat FF, I did try a few, they were Luke warm and over salted for me. Now, the chicken tenders were delicious, buttermilk light breading, cooked to order, which could be why the drive through took so long. Tho, I watched the curb side pick up..really wasn’t moving to fast either.
I will go again, next time inside. When I was at the window staff was pleasant, I was a little taken back when asked if I wanted my change back. Yes, not leaving a 12.50 tip. I am a good tipper, just not this time.

Food was really tasty (as usual). I always order on the app for pickup, so can’t really rate the service- but I will say that the food is always ready on time and I like to get there within 10 minutes of ordering.
The fries are meh, so I always get the mac and cheese. Gravy as a dipping sauce will always be elite.

If you like bland, flavorless chicken strips then go here. The chicken strips only serve as a vessel for their extremely mediocre tasting sauces. I can not express enough how disappointed I was with this place. You can get better bottled sauces and better chicken fingers from your local grocery store.
Lemonade more like water as well. Not sure what the buzz is about this place.
