Since 1988, Capone’s has been serving Riverside the best pizza, using freshly sliced ingredients, 100% mozzarella cheese, and the best handmade dough around. We also serve homemade lasagna, made from scratch alfredo sauce, and made to order sandwiches that will keep you and your family coming back for years to come!

I ordered the calzone and the Caesar salad. Nothing spectacular, but it hit the spot. The location is great, spacious, grate for large groups and small parties. They have coin operated games, and music playing in the background.
I was there for over an hour, and noticed that as people left, it took employees a really long time to clear out the tables. Curious if they’re understaffed, or just have a delayed system for cleanup. I would suggest not leaving dirty tables unattended for a long time.
Other than that, this was a fine experience.

just came here and ordered a chicago style deep dish pizza and as soon as I opened the box I knew it would not be something I enjoyed. as a disclaimer, I am from chicago but I did not expect the pizza to be the same as deep dish in Chicago. with the name being “capone’s” and the great reviews however, I was excited to try their pizza anyway and open to the experience. for starter’s, pizza sauce should not be the same as pasta sauce. this sauce smelled and tasted like marinara pasta sauce fresh from a jar. when making a deep dish pizza (chicago style or not) it is considered deep dish because the pizza should come out like a pie in the sense that the crust should be a combination of crispy, buttery, and flaky in texture and develop high walls. this crust was thick but simply doughy, and did not hold the shape of a deep dish pizza. given the amount of sauce used on a deep dish, there should also be a thick layer(s) of cheese underneath which almost always creates a cheese pull as a result of the amount, quality and type of cheese used. there was an extremely thin layer of shredded cheese on this pizza which was suffocated under the sauce. as you can hear, I was disappointed. I hope this business considers doing more research on what makes a chicago style deep dish pizza if they continue to have this as a menu option. the girls who helped me were all kind and graceful!

We have been going to Capone’s for over 20 years, since they were located across the street. The pizza is always great and delicious but don’t order a single slice for lunch because every time I have it’s always burnt. Wings are very tasty and worth the price. The fries are too crispy to our liking but we order them for our daughter. The customer service from the females behind the counter is always horrible!! For some reason they’re always rude and never smile. If they hate their job so much then they should quit but hopefully this review helps the owners to get rid of the “bad apples” in her crew. The female employees ruin our visit every time but the only reason we keep returning is because the pizza is so good, the beer on tap is nicely chilled to perfection and the salads are always on point. I hope the owners also put in a better dress code for the employees…Yesterday one young rude female was wearing pink sweatpants that looked like pajamas pants plus she had long purple nails that looked disgusting unsanitary. She behaved very unprofessional and her bad attitude was very disrespectful. Also all employees with long hair should have their hair up in buns or braids when handling and serving food. Hair nets would be a wiser choice for health inspectors ratings.
The atmosphere is a nice variety of local people. The many large tv screens are awesome.

After tax my small pizza and drink was around $26. The quality of the pizza was unbelievably sad. When I said something about it the manager basically said it looked good to her and it’s comparable to other places around here. She seemed annoyed that she had to come speak to me. WOW ! So much for this place

Top 5 best pizza I’ve ever had. Crust is so fluffy but crunchy at the same time. Fresh toppings. Definitely homemade and you can tell made fresh to order. Pasta was so yummy. Wings were GREAT. Cesar salad was super crunchy and delicious, you can tell the Cesar is homemade. Will absolutely be coming back here again. My boyfriend and I both rated it 10/10.

The food is amazing. Had cheese stuffed bread, hot buffalo wings and the Untouchable pizza. The bread was delicious. The wings were cooked peefectly, a little crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The meat just slide of the bones. The pizza was perfect. The crust was not to thick but still able to hold all the toppings without folding. Went for lunch and the place was still busy.

I agree with the other reviews that said this place was a little pricey for what you get. I purchased a medium pepperoni pizza, an order of mozzarella sticks, an antipasto salad, fettuccine Alfredo, and four drinks for $66.41.
The mozzarella sticks were the best item we tried: thick and crunchy on the outside and piping hot on the inside. The salad was okay; it had generous portions of meat, but it was kind of bland. It came with plenty of ranch, but it didn’t taste homemade. The person who had the fettuccine said they couldn’t taste the sauce and it was oily.
The pizza was good, but not great. The pepperoni was crispy and the crust was soft. The dough was thin and a little oily, but not bad. I wish it had come with more cheese.
The atmosphere was interesting. People in my party remarked it reminded them of “Friends,” it was like they imagined a New York pizzeria would be, and it seemed like a place that would be on the outskirts of town by the woods in a place like Rhode Island. To me, an older adult, it was too loud to hear any conversation. There were many (8?) big-screen t.v.s along with music playing and a large number of people talking. I would think the younger crowd would feel comfortable in the environment and would probably enjoy the experience with friends.
There is a small bar with beer on tap. The rest of the facility is a large open room of seating, from small tables to large tables, seats, stools, and benches; none of which were built for comfort.
The clientele ranged from tattooed young adults in sports jerseys to couples on dates to a bunch of guys drinking beer to families with young children.
Overall, I think this place would be ideal for a variety of people, but it just wasn’t my taste.

Not cooked right it’s very doughy the flop is bad it taste not good. I mean look at the flop!!!! It’s not even crispy it’s disgusting. look at the pics a pizza does not fold like that unless it not cooked right looks like a roller coaster. If you like the big flop then this place is for you. Like in the pics The bottom is not even golden brown it’s still white needs more time in the oven. If portnoy was here he will not agree with the flop and tell the cook to put it back in the oven for another 15 minutes. Tomorrow I’m taking this pizza to another pizzeria and see if they can finish cooking it for me

First off, It’s a pizza place. Nothing really special to see when you walk in. Plenty of long tables, and some games for the kids.
If you’re into sports though I think I counted no less than Ten TV’s, so take your pick of what to watch!
But you come for the food. We were out in the area and found Capone’s. With hands down the best meatballs I’ve ever eaten!! My mom even commented she’d like to have the recipe. Tasty and tender, they pretty much melt in your mouth. Yum-my!!
Then there’s the Build Your Own Calzone. Come hungry!! See the attached photo. Filled with your choice of three ingredients, from a wide array of choices (which even included my favorite, cashews), and loaded with mozzarella. Another winner.
We also ordered side salads, which were impressively large, and super fresh and served with your choice of dressing.
The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, and the food was served timely.
