Dined at Sliders Saturday evening. Attractive location that misses the mark. We had a drink at the bar before dinner. Although we were there before 5 when the menu options change we were not offered the snack options. Other customers had food choices so we had to ask. Two bartenders were spending time complaining about other employees. How they had to bus some tables for other employees and they weren’t nice or thankful for. They were not quiet or discreet about it. We were promptly seated for our reservation. Our server was friendly and pleasant. The order went in right away. We enjoyed looking out the windows at snow and slopes. After awhile our server told us our food would be right out. It did not appear. More time elapsed. Then our server advised that the kitchen had misplaced our order but they were working on it. She brought us a piping hot order of fries while the rest of the order was being finished up. The shrimp scampi was hot and delicious. The large meatball was barely lukewarm. We each had one bite. A second order of fries was cold. Our server apologised for the delay but didn’t check on how the food was. There was no manager on duty available. Beautiful facility but they missed the targets.

The food came quickly, the service staff was lovely, and the restaurant’s vibe is excellent. So why the 2-star review? We got the Sliders Burger w/fries ($29) and the “Tableside” Carbonara Signature Experience ($41). The fries came barely room temperature, unsalted, and underdone. The burger unfortunately tasted faintly like fish, as if it was cooked in the same pan or surface as the Baked Haddock on the menu. For this reason, I would avoid eating here if you have an important allergy because cross contamination is likely occurring in this kitchen. Finally the major issue with the meal, the “Tableside” Carbonara Signature Experience that is featured prominently on their website. This is where you are supposed to get the pasta tossed in an aged wheel of Parmigiana Reggiano at the table. We were seated in the loft area, were not informed that the “tableside” experience could not occur up in the loft. When we inquired about how our bill would be adjusted since we didn’t get the whole experience, the manager said they would give us $4 off, which is insulting. There should be an automatic discount for getting the carbonara up in the loft. So how was this $37 Carbonara Experience, hold the “Experience”? Let’s forget everything else about all the miscommunications, this was dollar-for-dollar the worst carbonara I have ever had. The sauce was almost purely butter (which is never ever used in a carbonara sauce) and had broken, the bucatini was prepared in unsalted water, there were 6 little pea sized pieces of pancetta, and the flavor of parmesan was non-existent to the point that I would have guessed it was a vegan meal.
Sliders should be your last resort at the resort. Eat here only if there is no other option, pack a sandwich instead.

Chicken parm sandwich is very good and taste like pizza chicken. This is the first chicken sandwich I’ve ever had and it did not disappoint. My dad and brother liked there food to my dad got a burger and I don’t remember what my brother got. The service was a little on the faster side considering how busy it was and the staff were very kind it was also very clean in there. I will be coming back

Pro Tip: Hit Jordan peak early. Lap around. Go to sliders around 11-11:15 to beat the crowds. Soups are great along with most other items. Hit the slopes while everyone else is scrambling for tables in over crowded lodges.

We took a group of 11 friends to sliders for dinner while staying at Sunday River Resort. Atmosphere was lodge pole tavern and the service was very good thanks to Dylan. We had an initial disagreement with the manager about seating us all at one table as he wanted Yaris plot up. We insisted on staying together and we had a very nice evening . Most of all the food was very good: artisanal Caesar salad, hearty Bolognese over rigatoni, shrimp I scampi. my friend had the stuffed spaghetti squash, which was a wonderful option, enough to feed three people as she got half of a huge, spaghetti, squash, stuffed with beans and mixed vegetables. Also note that during the week the place is not crowded, but very lovely and spacious! Most people stop here for lunch while they’re skiing at the Jordan bowl and I would do this too , but we chose dinner instead definitely worth the run to the end of the road to find Sliders at the Jordan Lodge..

Do yourself a favor, get in your car and go somewhere else for dinner. This place in incredibly expensive for average tasting food.

Disappointing Service at a High-End Resort
We had high hopes for our dinner, but the service was extremely disappointing. Despite the restaurant being half-full, our server, Louiee, took five minutes to greet us with a dismissive, “Do you know what you want?” Drinks took 15–20 minutes, and when our food arrived, my dish (tableside carbonara) was missing because the server forgot to put in the order. When we asked about it, he was indifferent, and after another 20 minutes, my wife had to go find him—only to be met with rudeness.
The manager was no better, blaming a large party upstairs and offering little more than a comped dish that never arrived. Her attitude was dismissive, and even getting our receipt required tracking her down.
For a resort of this caliber, the lack of hospitality and accountability was shocking. A simple apology or effort to make things right could have salvaged the experience, but instead, we were met with indifference at every turn. Would not recommend based on this experience.

Why name the place “Sliders,” when there are no sliders available on the menu. Did they know what a slider was before they named the place?
Service was fine – but the dining experience was awful, especially when you take the prices into consideration. The food had no inspiration, and is an insult if you even try to call this place remotely Italian.
Oh and if you ask for blue cheese with the sub-par tyson previously frozen wings, you’ll be looked at like you’re from mars and told that mozzarella is the only option they have for cheese.
The only thing I could offer in return was a blank stare – because I’m pretty sure the last thing I wanted for my wings was shredded mozzarella sprinkled on top.
Do better if you want customers to pay $24 for a Sysco burger, and additional $8 for fries as a side and $21 for 8 previously frozen wings.

Let’s call this a work in progress. Sunday night football game. Party of 8, only customers in the place, TV’s were turned off at 5pm. Reason was for “fine dining experience.” Called the manager and got 1 TV turned on for the game. Hotel is under construction and portable restrooms are in place for now. (Wife informed me there was no soap) Food was alright, service was fine. We were told they will not accept cash. If we have cash, go out to front desk of hotel and get a gift card. Our waiter Austin offered to do it for us, which was nice, but still kind of ridiculous. Also a fine dining place called “Sliders” isn’t really lining up well. Hopefully they will get things sorted out better in the future. Especially considering they are one of the only places we can go at the hotel without a long drive to the other side.
