Slice is home to the original NY style pizza. Family owned and operated, we pride ourselves on offering authentic Italian dishes and hand crafted pizza pies. We offer a large selection of pizza by the slice, Pizza rolls and Calzones. Starting July 10th 2023 we will be closing Monday’s and continue to serve you Tuesday – Sunday 10am – 9pm. We offer free delivery to the surrounding area ( 6 mile radius ) and cater for large parties and events.

Tried the chicken parmigiana pizza from Slice of Stamford for the first time and it really hit the spot. The texture was the standout — soft, warm crust with tender chicken that didn’t feel dry or overcooked. The marinara was balanced, not too sweet, and the melted cheese pulled everything together without being heavy. It felt like classic comfort food in pizza form. For a first try, it was satisfying and easy to enjoy, especially if you like softer, hearty slices. Would definitely get it again.

Very good food! This is my go-to pizza place for takeout, and it’s always delicious. I ordered a large cheese pizza, chicken piccata with vegetables, and fried calamari, all of which were fantastic. The only downside was that the veggies with the chicken piccata were only broccoli; I was hoping for a mix, though I do like broccoli. Also, the portion size for the chicken piccata was smaller than I expected for dinner, as it’s usually bigger when I order. That said, everything was still delicious, and I highly recommend this spot!

I’ve been here many times and pizza is good but not WOW. Similar to any pizza places outside NYC. Hot cooked dishes are not great at all. So disappointed that staple Italian dishes weren’t done right. Service is unfriendly rude, and can’t crack a smile. Spoke to me in a condescending manner and made me felt uncomfortable. Don’t know if they’re mad at me or that’s how they greet people. I would never return because I should not have to pay for attitude when there are many pizzeria in town that’s better.

Stamford is known for good pizza. I have lived here 30 years and have tried them all. Slice Newfield is my go to for take-out. Always fresh, consistently delicious crust and generous toppings. It also has the friendliest owners and staff. Give it a try. It will make you smile!

Then when I picked up the food you can tell they were following all COVID safety measures.
When it came time to eat, everything was fresh and delicious. They don’t skimp on quality ingredients which is nice to see for a pizza shop.

Let me start my saying, we normally enjoy the food. Tonight, I ordered a broccoli raabe and roasted pepper calzone. The broccoli raabe was so sandy, I couldn’t even eat it. Clearly, it was not even washed. I know from making it myself, it needs to be washed at least 3 or 4 times to get the grit out. They clearly don’t care because this was the 2nd time in about 6 months that it was sandy/crunchy. NOT ACCEPTABLE!

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I feel like i have to let everyone know there’s an extremely cute pizza delivery driver working here. The pizza was hot, but not as hot as him. Honestly, I tipped extra just for existing that good-looking. He handed me the pizza and I swear I forgot how to speak English for a second. The man could deliver me an empty box and I’d still say “thank you so much, best pizza ever.” 10/10 will continue to order from this place!!!

The delivery situation is the worst ever. They take 1 hour and 30 minutes to deliver 2 large pizzas on a Friday night to our home.which is literally down the street. We tried for 2 times and I couldn’t give more opportunities. Unfortunately the delivery is terrible
