It’s hard to find some good Pizza in town but Slice of Italy really does it well. I ordered pizza wings and potato wedges and they were all so tasty. The wings (although me not usually being a wing person) were so yummy! The pizza was so delicious, such a classic taste and the classic pizza joint vibe. I had such a good time! When I need a good pizza I’ll go for a Slice of Italy because they know Pizza!

If you have never visited the Slice of Italy Restaurant in Bakersfield, you might change your mind after you read this review.
Valentine’s Day of 2024 was perfect. The dinner at Slice of Italy with a special menu was among the best. See the pictures below of the plates.
Due to some allergy issues, the international renowned chef, Anna, prepared my plate carefully and presented it beautifully.
When I choose a restaurant, I look for:
First, food preparation, quality and presentation.
Secondly, excellent service (our waitress Michelle).
Lastly, the restaurant ambiance is part of the package; the decoration is less important if the restaurant and utensils are clean. Nevertheless, they could have added more decorations for Valentine’s Day. However, the romantic music from the 80’s helped a lot to put us in the Valentine’s mood.

We came in with a party of 30, rehearsal dinner for Michael and Mayra. They set us up in the patio which is decorated nicely and has tower heaters for chilly weather.
Every employee I came in contact with was nice and helpful. We ordered off the menu, our waitress Sandra handled it all professionally. Hats off to Sandra for doing a outstanding job!
I had the chicken Alfredo, it was wonderful. Several friends ordered the garlic chicken pizza, they all loved it. Everyone in our party raved about the delicious food. We will be back very soon and thank you Sandra for a excellent job on a large party.

My dish was delicious! My family enjoyed every bite . Great place to go to on a Sunday afternoon like we did. Not busy at all. Prices were okay. Services were great as well. I suggest getting the cheese bread appetizer.

100$ worth of delivery. Zero add-ons were included. Order went to hotel and nothing to eat it with. Absolutely no sauce left in the one container as it leaked on everything. 100$ . Ridiculous. 2 entrees and garlic bread 6.00$ garlic bread and is a half of a hot dog bun !! NO TIRAMISU OR CANNOLI WERE DELIVERED. Refund refused.
