I had high hopes after reading the reviews but I must say that I was disappointed in the pizza I received. First of all nowhere on the menu does it state the size of the pizza. I assumed at the starting price point of 20ish dollars this would be a 16 inch pizza…however the size is 12 inches according to my ruler which includes 6 slices.
I ordered a custom pizza with pepperoni and extra cheese which before tip was slightly over $25. I would also question if there was really extra cheese on this pizza. Based on my experiences in the past, what I received was a normal amount of cheese, not double. The pizza crust was fairly crispy with a good bit of sag when holding out straight but definitely the best part of the pizza.. The pizza was a bit on the salty side but could be explained by the toppings chosen. I normally can do 2 slices on a large but could only finish one piece due to the saltiness.
I would say that I don’t mind paying extra for quality but I must admit I feel like the price does not come anywhere near the quality. Overall, if I was Dave Portnoy I would give this pizza a 4.2 out of 10. There are much better options in Southport that will net you a better pizza in a larger size for the same price and will be a much better experience.

This is life changing pizza. I’ve had the good fortune to have some great pizza. Apizza Scholes, Kens Artisan, Difaras, Mission Pizza. Just to name a few. This place is just as good. Otherworldly Amazing crust! Zero flop. Sauce and Cheese perfectly complimentary. Never change SoH!!! Southport you dont know how lucky you are to have this place yet. But you will!

I like the pizza but it’s hard not to feel that it’s overpriced. Two slices of pepperoni pizza (pretty small slices, mind you) ran me about $14. I’m happy to support local, but I could get an entire small pizza from dominoes for less than that. I like the shop and the pizza tastes good (staff is friendly too), but it’s a little too expensive for me.

So glad this place is open! GIANT slices and great desserts. Staff is friendly and nice, and pizza is top notch. And they have HAVEN GELATO! Highly recommend and I will be back.

A hidden gem! So glad we found this little spot right around the corner from the waterfront park. Good sized, tasty pizzas, and we are originally from NY, so good pizza is hard to find! My kids were very satisfied!

The crust is to die for, the toppings, the sauce all works. The place is a cool little neat place. When you come in the aroma and vibe is like a little pizza stand. A bevy of beverage choices! I am already craving my next pie! The boys behind the counter friendly and helpful! Great place to get great pizza! YUM!

Pizza comes in various styles and we all seem to have our preferences. Slice of Haven creates the best NY style thin crust pizza I have had in some time and in my humble opinion the best in the Southport area. Their crust is perfectly cooked with a slightly crisp crunch and their toppings are original and very tasty.

I placed an online order last night and did not have a good experience. I went inside to pick up my order and the three younger looking staff were extremely rude. They looked directly at me and did not say one thing to me or acknowledge my presence. I continue to stand there and stare at them as they are talking to each other, minutes later the young girl walks up and hands me a pizza and did not even ask the name on the order or say one word to me. I was very disappointed because I did tip 15% and did not receive any service. I love Haven Gelato and have had nothing but good experiences there so this was a let down for sure. It makes me not want to return due to how uncomfortable it was. Everyone in customer service should know how to acknowledge the customers and treat them with kindness because that reflects the whole business! Aso for one 14 inch gluten free pizza it was 37 dollars.

Great by the slice, they basically give two slices per slice. Must have a good hot oven because the crust was browned but not overcooked. Will order here again. Keep up the great stuff!
