They toast your choice pizza slice before serving it. We ordered garlic bread with a side of marinara and pesto. Amazing. My mouth waters thinking about that pesto. I could eat it on anything. I got a deep dish pizza. I love the flavor and texture of the dough. Pillowy inside, crispy edges/ crust. It was my 2nd time here. I tried their cannolis, highly recommend. I will be back.

I have already eaten at Slice House in their Thousand Oaks location. This locale was in their Simi Valley location. The space clearly shows it’s more renovated, has ample room, and just feels a bit more polished than the T.O. establishment.
The pizzas are still the same. Nice taste. Explosive flavor. Crisp, yet doughy crust. So if you are going to head to a great slice shoppe then this would definitely be the place.
The slices are pricey, but you didn’t come here to pay for just an ordinary slice of cheese. You came to enjoy something truly next level.
Between the two spots, I’m more inclined to go to this locale, but choose what is closer. Great place, great food.

My mouth has seen the future of pizza and it is here at Slice House by Tony Gemignani. We live in the Santa Clarita Valley which is a NYC-style pizza wasteland…We heard that one of these slice houses was opening up in our valley and we just couldn’t wait to try it so we headed out to Simi to give this location a try.

We couldn’t have been happier about what the future holds for us.

All I really need out of pizza, as a baseline as a good, authentic slice of NY-style cheese pizza. Lots of places offer pizza-shaped food which has the general look and flavors one would expect…but few do an actual perfect NYC-style slice…super thin and crispy with the right amount of sauce and cheese. that’s exactly what we got here.

We also really enjoyed the Sweet Gino Grandma slice we got…they have several styles of pizza and you can get any pizza you want on any of those styles (NY, Grandma, Detroit, Sicilian…check their website for photos and descriptions about what differentiates these styles.) So there are plenty of options for you if you’re ordering a whole pie…though if you want to sample slices you’re limited to what’s in the display case…not a problem for most folks, but if you’re a vegetarian and really want to try a Detroit slice, but the available Detroit slice happens to not be vegetarian, you’re out of luck unless you order a whole Detroit pie.) I don’t see this as too much of a problem when they open up in our valley as I envision a long future of ordering entire pies in all their styles so I become a Tony Gemignani-ologist, expert in all the styles they offer…though it would be nice if there was a vegetarian slice option in all their styles in case I happen to be walking by and there’s a pizza slice emergency.)

They also have pasta, a couple of vegetarian sides, wine and beer, and Aperol if you want a fun Italian experience. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table.

Slice House will be a true pizza game-changer in the Santa Clarita Valley when it shows up here. We’re so glad we got to experience it at this Simi Valley location.

I’m not sure why people are so negative. I actually want this place and other local places to thrive so we aren’t just left with burgers and fries in Simi Valley. It’s a plus to me that this location is owned by a local family as well! Anyway, we LOVE Slice House. So far we have had, Detroit style motor head, Detroit style Little Italy, Detroit style Hawaiian hitman, Detroit style red top, NY style chicken bacon ranch, NY style pepperoni and NY style purple potato. The pepperoni was my least favorite and was on the greasy side…BUT the Little Italy is my top pick for Detroit style. The crust is buttery and the tomato sauce is so fresh and flavorful. The chicken bacon ranch is so delicious. And the purple potato is unique but SO good with delicious home made pesto. We will continue to support local. This place is worth the money. And the staff has all been attentive, kind and quick to help clean up so people can be seated when busy.

We went for lunch to try the pizza. The food was good. They have a lunch special that comes with a salad and drink. Only two choices (cheese or pepperoni) for the $9.99 price. If you want a different pizza there is a $1.00 – $2.00 up charge depending on the pizza you choose. There were three of us and we all got different pizzas to try. All were good. The downsides for me was they have Pepsi products to drink. I prefer Coke. Also, the music inside was so incredibly loud we could barely talk to each other. That’s the one thing that would make me think twice about going back.

Simply put, best Pizza in Simi Valley.

Slices are available for ALL pizza types it seems.

The pizza is really good and very good portions. The NY slice was even bigger than a Costco slice and tasted good. My only complaint about the NY slice (being a native New Yorker) is the crust was a little to thick. Otherwise it tasted really good.

The Sicilian pizza was dead on and had a rich butter flavor in the crust. Pepperoni on it was super thick cut too which was great.

I went to days after they opened and the service was very fast and I didn’t wait more then 10 minutes for my food.

The lunch special seems like a great deal and in addition to the special daily pizzas i noticed they had a few other specials that weren’t listed but you could see in the case before the register.

I will be a repeat customer.

A new pizzeria in town that I saw with high praise from others. Upon arriving, the place looked clean and organised, with easy seating and several monitors for viewers. A very expansive menu for a variety of pizzas, but the best was the simple $9.99 lunch special of a slice of cheese or pepperoni, salad and fountain drink. Very large slices, and was quite satisfying. The service was attentive and appreciative. I plan to return and try their Detroit style pepperoni slice, as well. Many thanks to the staff, including the manager “T”, for their excellent supervision of everyone else, and that I wish them all success and prosperity here in Simi Valley. Many thanks!

This shopping plaza has it all! To name a few choices….. Coffee bean, Jamba juice, the flying yolk, the habit, and now Slice House.

Right upon entering, you know they are serious about pizza. As you pass the respect the craft wall sign, you will see their display of slices available. It was hard to choose as I glanced over their 12 selections. They offer daily flavors by the slice so everyday is a different one. It took about 5 minutes to get our slices in individual small pizza boxes. The pizza was hot and so good. And the best part is enjoy a slice leaving room for ice cream nextdoor at Coldstones!

Just YUM. We love Slice House and will drive to get there. The place is just too cute and the service is the best. You order at a counter and out comes your food. You can get just a slice or a whole pie and they have this thick crust that is amazing.

My grandson’s favorite dish is their spaghetti. No matter if we are eating there or taking home he has to have it. They give a large portion and it is just super fresh, made to order spaghetti with a kick to it.

I love their thick crust and always get a huge pie. We can take home what we don’t eat and it heats up so well.

The place is super clean, there is plenty of seating, the prices are fair and the food is great. What is there not to love.

My family of 5 and friend came to eat at Slice House in Simi Valley for Halloween and it was a not a good experience. We ordered an hour before the store was about to close and worker there hovered over the cashier who was taking our order and kept giving us dirty looks as we ordered 2 large pizzas then told us that they will be closing soon. 40 mins or more later we got our food and that same girl who brought the pizzas to our table gave us more dirty looks and told us again that they will be closing in 20 mins. She was very rude! Although we love Slice house pizzas, we will never go back to the Simi location. Horrible, horrible service! Workers there act like they hate their job
