I have tried a lot of pizza places and to find a good place that sells pizza by the slice that is good can be a challenge. I can say that this one is pretty good. They have different kinds of pizzas like New York style, but also traditional Detroit and Sicilian. The pizza was great and The service was quick. Went on a weekend and it was kinda busy but still found seats. Parking is easy because the malls have garages. If you want ranch or hot honey they charge but they do offer hot chili oil for the table for free. If you want whole pizzas they do that too. But getting a selection of slices and different types to share was great.

FINALLY! A pizza joint that makes quality pizza with a Crisp! All the toppings are fresh and delicious. You best one, “The Angelino”!. You must go in if you want this one or other single slices, but it’s well worth the wait. No matter what style of pizza you like, this place makes it the best.

I stopped by this Slice House location for lunch today. Thor was the cashier working today and he was amazing. He explained the different pizza and also his recommendation. I went with the Pepperoni pizza, Angeleno Pizza, Detroit Red Hat Pizza and Caesar salad. The pizza are delicious and you cannot go wrong with what you pick. I also tried the meatball and got a mountain dew here. The dining experience here is great with the many TVs and amazing customer service.

The service and atmosphere matched the amazing taste of the pizza. Both the pepperoni and angelino slices had great crisp, amazing taste, and tasty dough. However, the pepperoni had a little too much grease. I’ll definitely return for more!

The pizza renaissance has come to Santa Clarita. I don’t say this lightly. Since I moved up here 4 years ago I’ve been seriously missing real NYC-style slices (and generally just good pizza) that is a bit more abundant in other parts of L.A. I’ve done a deep-dive of what we have up here and whereas we have some spots that are generally “good” there just wasn’t anything like this…until now.

Slice House serves authentic and EXCELLENT pizza in a variety of styles…conceived by award-winning pizza chef Tony Gemignani, and locally owned and franchised here in Santa Clarite. The star of the show, for me, is the NYC-style slices. They’re perfect…the right amount of thin and crispy on the crust…the right amount of sauce and cheese…nostalgically delicious when you order a slice and over the top great when you get a whole pie made fresh for you.

My family also REALLY loves the Sweet Gino grandma-style pie…thicker crispy crust that’s really indulgent with a sweet sauce, fresh mozzarella, and a pesto drizzle. I think my wife would marry one of these variations of pizzas if I wasn’t around.

The Detroit is pretty spectacular to look at as well…we got a purple potato pie, Detroit style…this one may have been a bit more bready than I wanted…I think I’d try the purple potato again on a thinner crust. (Also I’m a vegetarian so we got that pie without the bacon.

They’ve got different slice offerings on different days so you’re limited to that (for slices) on the particular day you’re there…for most folks that’s fine…for me the vegetarian it can be limiting…though of course, you can order a full pie any way you want on any day…but that’s often more than me or my family can eat. On the other hand, pizza leftovers are a win for everyone for days to come.

The abundant staff knows their product well and are eager to help you make the right choices. (and they’re super friendly)

It’s definitely pricier than I want it to be which will limit the amount of times we can get it…but I definitely won’t regret the expense when we do. (And if you can go there over lunch there’s a great, low-priced lunch special.

Being able to get pizza this good anytime I want, finally, after trying so hard with other local SCV shops the last few years, is the pizza renaissance I’ve so eagerly wanted. Thanks for being here, Slice House!

Finally there’s a pizza place in SCV that doesn’t taste like everyone’s pizza. The choices of thickness, the delicious tomato sauce, the variety of meat flavors creates a distinct experience. We usually drive to Eataly to get our square pizza and Slice House does it as well. Reasonably priced and great taste is true value.

I had been wanting to try this place since it opened but never quite made it until a few nights ago. I had read some reviews that were good to very good (especially when compared to a new place in Old Town Newhall).
I had just worked a long day and found myself close to the Slice House. I walked in, it was later on a Tuesday night, and it was about 20 percent full… Santa Clarita, right. I walked up to look at the menu and was politely asked by one of the employees if they could help me. After seeing the choice of slices available I knew I needed to take a few home for the family. I responded that I was going to call my family and ask what they wanted. Bad idea. Everything looked and sounded so good we had trouble making up our minds so I hung up and just chose 3 slices.
All three were awesome! The only thing wrong was that I didn’t bring home a meatball sub. I will next time and will be back soon.
I am so glad to have a wonderful pizza place in Santa Clarita.
