We decided to try Slice & Spice in Warner Robins, GA tonight because we were on that side of town and I’ve been wanting to try them since before they opened!

Everything was AMAZING! We got the Buttery Nakhra Pizza with chicken, the Cheesy Paneer Masala Samosas, The Hawaiian Heaven Pizza, the loaded paneer makhani fries, and the mango lassi.

My picky eater even loved everything!!! It smelled amazing and tasted even better!

They are currently short staffed and they make everything from scratch so please give them grace! They were very kind! The gentleman working even brought me once if the seasonings listed on the pizza for me to smell because I was wondering how it tasted & smelled. They had daily specials on their menu board. We paid about $90 WITH a tip and we have PLENTY of food left to have tomorrow as well. Considering they make everything in house, source the best ingredients, and try to pay fair wages to their employees, the prices are fair. Go give them a try!

This place is so good. Would highly recommend the “Buttery Nakhra” pizza as a good traditional tasting, mild, curry pizza. We also had the “Tikka Talking” which had more of a southwestern ranch style flavoring. Watch for their daily/weekly deals! Worth the price.

Amazing food. We got a Butter Chicken pizza which was an amazing mix of Indian Buttered chicken put on a thin crust pizza. The staff was really sweet and nice to talk to as well.

My only complaint is the lack of music for the restaurant, which made the area very quite for us while we were eating.

Very delicious, both the more traditional (friend ordered cheese) and non-traditional flavors (got that butter chicken pizza)!

Made from scratch (even the dough), super tasty, very unique. Very clean!!
We got the mango lassi just in case too spicy but it just became a delicious dessert instead as it was totally not too spicy.
We were able to remove jalapeños and cilantro while ordering.

Owners were present and very kind/ sweet, even helping our friends use deal they posted online (Facebook) for discount.

Cannot express just how incredible this food is! I got the 12” pizza…1/2 Hawaiian 1/2 butter chicken…I have never loved pizza so h in my life! The flavor of everything from the crust to each of the perfectly balanced toppings had me stunned! The crust is specially made so that it doesn’t give you the fullness and bloat that most pizza does. That leaves you free to enjoy more of your order! We will be back to try more of the menu!

Please note before reading that I have well over half a million views on my Google reviews and pictures, and if you check my profile, you’ll see many that started low and were edited as things changed or as situations were rectified. Still waiting on a response from the owner.

With that being said, we were genuinely excited to try Slice and Spice, especially since we’re huge fans of 7 Spices (and eat there often) and have been following them on Instagram for quite a while. We even showed up early—we arrived around 10:40 AM and were the very first customers in line. Unfortunately, the experience ended up being more frustrating than enjoyable.

Ordering & Service Issues
We completed placing our order at 11:04 AM, but only the wings made it through their system, according to the owner. Our Tikka pizza and butter chicken-loaded fries never showed up, and we later learned the order hadn’t been processed at all, except somehow the wings. Meanwhile, pizzas for people who came in after us were coming out before ours, which was discouraging.
We waited patiently as we understood that this was a grand opening. The wings arrived at 11:22 AM, but still no fries or pizza. By the time we left at 11:57 AM—nearly an hour and twenty minutes after arriving and 53 minutes after completing our order—we were still waiting for most of our food. The owner repeatedly told us the pizza was either “just five minutes” away or “being boxed,” but that turned out not to be true. We had to leave to pick up our son and ended up walking out hungry and frustrated.

We were refunded, but it took two separate transactions—one for the fries and another for the pizza—because neither had actually been made or was taking an extremely long time to prepare after the system issue was realized. The worst part of that, though, is that we didn’t want a refund; we genuinely wanted the food. Sadly, we didn’t even get an “I’m sorry” from the owner. I understand she was frustrated, but even seeing the look on her face as she looked out at us from the kitchen made it seem like it was our fault somehow.

Food Quality (What We Did Receive)
If you’ve seen my reviews, you know I always give credit where credit is due. The tandoori wings were the one highlight. For a half-pound order (8 wings), they were very crispy, juicy, and generously sized. The house sauce was fresh with a nice kick that reminded you of classic Indian spices.

However, the pricing overall is hard to justify for what you get:

Wings: $10 for ½ lb. It might be better to price them by the piece, since customers can’t easily judge value with bone weight included. However, we DID feel that the size of the wings was perfect and didn’t mind the price point, just how they’re sold. Go piece, not pound!

Loaded Butter Chicken Fries: $13, and ours never arrived.

12″ Pizzas: $19.99 across the board, which is about $6 more than comparable artisan pizza places nearby (like Mellow Mushroom), for the same size. This is extremely expensive by comparison.

Grand Opening Freebie Disappointment
They had a spin-the-wheel promotion for early customers. We landed on a free drink with the purchase of loaded fries. Since we don’t drink pop or sugary drinks, it was a wasted perk—we just stuck with water. It would have been nice to have gotten another spin. I’d have even paid for bottled water to prove that our family doesn’t drink pop or sugary drinks.

Overall Experience
I really can’t recommend visiting until they resolve their ordering system issues. Being first in line and still not receiving our food after more than an hour—while later orders were fulfilled—isn’t something most customers will tolerate. System bugs like this, mixed with much higher than average price points on artisan pizzas, can easily ruin what could otherwise be a great first impression.

We truly wanted to enjoy this place, but we left disappointed, still hungry, and out a chunk of our morning. Once they work out the kinks and streamline their ordering process, things may improve, but for now, I’d wait before giving it a try.
