Wonderful experience! We love visiting independent coffee shops and this has become a favorite! The atmosphere is nostalgic, beautifully restored in an old movie theater. The coffee was delicious (we had almond joy) and a delicious, moist chocolate cream cheese muffin. Friendly staff!

What a wonderful little find! At 9am on a Saturday We ordered a breakfast sandwich and the avocado toast for food and a cold brew black and birthday cake latte. Very reasonably priced, awesome service and great ambiance. We will definitely return! A must visit!

Superb vibes overall. Great spacious design with lots of seating. It is a coffee shop and brewery with very friendly service. We got an Americano, breakfast sandwich, and lavender late. The drinks were solid. The sandwich needed a little sauce or something. We asked for hot sauce but they didn’t really have anything. It was fine but needed a little sauce to tie it all together.
The brewery looked great too. If you are in the area, definitely drop by.

A very interesting coffee/beer establishment that used to be a movie theater. They also have a large room for events. The loft area used to be the projection booth, and the projector is still there!

Best place to grab a bite and start your day. This place is WOW beautiful! Super friendly and accommodating staff! The bathroom was spotless! This place made my stay in Sleepy Eye so enjoyable. Highway recommended. I wish other communities could have a place like this.

Did not live up to the hype. Went this morning for the first time. My daughter & I both got the Almond Joy coffee drink, did not taste like an Almond Joy, tasted like a very bitter plain coffee. The large size was the size of Caribou’s medium. My daughter got avocado toast, had 2 eggs but only 1 piece of toast and the food was cold. I had a bagel sandwich which was also cold. Food & portion size not worth it, food very pricey there for the quality. 2 bad coffees and poor quality food for $30 with tip. Would never go back or recommend.

There were a lot of locals enjoying their coffee together, which was fun to see. Very impressed with this place! The food was good, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was fantastic! We wished we had time for more than just breakfast during our trip. I would 100% return again next time we are in town.

I get back to Sleepy Eye from time to time to visit family, and one thing I always make sure to do is visit the PIX coffee shop and brewery.
In the last year, this place has truly blossomed. The food menu has been improved and is outstanding.
Of course, the coffee drinks are as excellent as ever. While I don’t drink alcohol, I’ve heard the beer is also top-notch.
Next time you’re passing through Sleepy Eye, be sure to stop in and experience this wonderful place. It’s a must-see!

On a recent visit to Sleepy Eye, MN we ventured into the new coffee shop and brewery that is housed in the old renovated PIX Movie Theater.
Not knowing what to expect, I must say that this new addition to downtown Sleepy Eye is absolutely fantastic. This new stop ranks high as a very thoughtful renovation.
Every aspect of this renovation/restoration is first class. The planning, materials, craftsmanship, and care to maintain the character of the old PIX theater is great.
If you get a chance to visit the old PIX theater coffee shop and brewery you will be glad you did.
Congratulations and best wishes for much success on this endeavor. It’s wonderful to see something this nice happening in my home town that has afforded me so many happy memories.
