We were there on a blustery Sunday, in November, in the afternoon as soon as it opened. The service was outstanding! Natasha, the bar manager, and the entire crew were incredibly nice and the food outstanding! We met each of them ( we were the only ones there at the time) and even had a chance to meet and chat with the owners who came by a bit later.
The interior is beautiful and cozy! The stage is in a great spot to allow all to enjoy the music, no matter where you’re sitting.
We had a bit of everything, drinks, soup of the day, Grandma’s pierogies, rice pilaf, Taco Quesaberr`ia, chicken wings, salad and burger!! Everything was delicious, ( though we prefer the little flats wings). And for dessert, the cannoli dip!!
A great place to meet/make friends, have a bite, good drinks and feel at home!
( I have wonderful pictures to share but try as I might, I can’t figure out how to do it, as this page didn’t give me an add photos option. I’ll post them on their FB page.)

Hidden gem in downtown Bangor, PA!
The fish fry specials board from FB made us crave fish, so, we headed out to give it a go. No fish fry this night but what we ordered was delicious and satisfying
Just opened at 4pm, we encountered Jake and Jill tending bar and so, decided to just sit and ask some questions.
Travis in the kitchen, preparing and presenting great food. You’re on pointe.
The Slater steak sandwich with FF cooked on par, tasted good. ($14)
The ancho chile lime Salmon with crema was cooked right, accompanied by Tuscan kale and side of mushroom soup. Surprisingly awesome. ($18)
Then added an order of fish and chips ($16) with homemade FF and coleslaw that blew my socks off, wait, I wasn’t wearing socks. Anyhow, these folks aim to please, very accommodating and personable. Cool vibes.
Nice to know this type of establishment exists in small town nearby.
We’ll definitely be back for some trivia or music nights.

Had to give this one a 5. We walked in with no assumptions and were extremely impressed with the live music, the craft beer, the atmosphere, and of course the food.

The Irish Red beer is legitimately one of the best local brews in the Valley.

Wings are whole, which is interesting. But the sauces and fry were perfect. The beer cheese pretzel is also a winner. We will def come back to this place.

Tonight was the second time my mom and I had dinner at the Slatebelt Brewing Company! It is handicap accessible with a ramp leading to the front door. The ascetic of the brewery is based around music, complete with some guitars hanging on the wall and a stage for performers. It has embossed wall paper and is super cute and welcoming inside.
Our server, Stephanie, was amazing. She asked if we had been there before, and if there are any food, allergies they should be aware of. She was kind and friendly and, when asked, offered suggestions as to what we might like to eat. She recommended the scotch egg, which I now also highly recommend as well. My mother raved about the New England clam chowder stating that normally it is bits of clam, but that there was actually whole clams in the chowder. Stephanie offered ketchup and vinegar to accompany the fries with our meals. My mom’s only complaint was that the fries were a little overdone. I am a fan of crispy fries so it didn’t bother me at all!
They had some music playing over the speakers and it was at an appropriate level so we didn’t struggle to hear each other talk. We will definitely be back!

After finding out that our favorite band, Radio One would be at Slate Belt Brewing Company, we made an online reservation for a high top.
Table was ready when we arrived and our server, Jakub, greeted us immediately. We ordered our drinks, an espresso cherry cordial martini, a smoked old fashion, spicy margarita, and one of their craft beers. All of the drinks were on point.
For appetizers we had muhammara, scotch eggs and popcorn soup.
For dinner we enjoyed fish and chips which was fresh, crispy and delicious, and the salmon entrée. We wrapped everything up with canoli dip and chocolate ganache which were just as tasty as the rest of the food. We were happy to see some unique offerings on the menu, and the portions and presentation were perfect.

Jakub was attentive and fun. Our water glasses were always full, we ordered in shifts, because we knew we were going to be there a few hours for the band, and he kept everything flowing great throughout the evening.

Had an allergic reaction, and the staff reacted swiftly and quickly providing me with benadryl. The owner came to speak to me immediately to check on me and his and Jakub’s genuine concern for me was incredible.

We will be happily going back and am looking forward to trying some other food and drink from their menu.

We had a reservation for dinner and arrived about five minutes early. We were seated immediately, which seemed like a great start — but unfortunately the service never followed through.

It took several minutes for our server to acknowledge us. When he did, he asked us to “please be patient” because it was “crazy busy.” The problem was that the restaurant clearly wasn’t busy. A large party of about 12–14 had just finished and left as we were seated, and about half of the tables were empty. This is also a very small restaurant (roughly 10–12 tables and a small bar), so it’s easy to see what’s going on in the room.

After leaving us with menus for more than 20 minutes, the server came back and said he would only be taking drink orders. We declined drinks because we were ready to order food, but before we could even ask for an appetizer he had already walked away.

We waited another five minutes to give them the benefit of the doubt, but no one came back and no one acknowledged us again.

At that point we decided to leave. No one noticed or said anything as we walked out.

It was disappointing, especially during restaurant week when you’d expect service to be more attentive. We ended up having a great dinner up the street at Broadway Pub instead.

3 of us came here last Friday.. beer was excellent, food was excellent, and service was excellent! Their Motorhead Lager is not only one of the best lagers, but one of the best beers around. Bacon cheeseburger and fries was amazing; burger was massive, juicy and great flavor, the fresh cut fries were the best I had in a long time. Typically there is live music here.. good vibes all around, I highly recommend!! Can’t wait to come back

My fiancé and I just moved into the area and were on the hunt for our new go-to spot for great beer and good vibes — and we FELL in love with this place from the moment we walked in! Shoutout to our waitress Stephanie for making our first experience here memorable! She was so kind and welcoming.

The atmosphere is welcoming and laid-back, perfect for hanging out after work or on the weekends. The beer list is fantastic — the blonde and amber IPA were both standouts, perfectly balanced and full of flavor. You can tell they put real thought and care into their brews.

The food? Absolutely delicious. We weren’t expecting brewery food to be this good, but every bite impressed us. I got the chicken quarter and my fiance got the sausage pasta dish (I forget the name whooops). It’s the kind of place where you want to work your way through the whole menu.

We’re so happy to have found this spot so close to home. Great beer, amazing food, and friendly service — this is definitely going to be our place.

We have tried this establishment several times before reviewing it.

The first visit they did not have our reservation in the book, but luckily, they were not overly busy when we got there, and seating was available.

We found the menu to be a little too eclectic for the area.
The vibe is very casual, and the live music is great.

We met the owner, Tim, who was walking around, checking on tables.

I offered a suggestion or two, and he was very receptive.

We went back a second time and ordered the same thing as when we went the first time. There were some slight differences to each dish, but nothing was bad about either of them.

Plus, this time I noticed they had made some menu changes and added a regular garden salad.

Thanks Tim for listening to a customer suggestion.

Now onto our third visit….
We ordered the same thing as the previous visits. I will say this time again there were differences.

None of the differences were about the taste but more so the portions and presentation.

The chef had a visitor in the kitchen with him, so that could have been a distraction.

Overall, the quality of the food is good, I just wish it was consistent.

The staff is very nice and offered suggestions and answered questions about menu items.

Tim is very nice, open to suggestions, and genuinely cares what the customers think.

They have not been open that long and I’m sure they are still working out some kinks.

I would definitely give them a try.
It’s is a nice place to grab a bite and a drink, listen to some live music and just hang for awhile.

Parking can be a pain but that’s in any small town.

They have outdoor seating available.

Check online for the live music schedule.

This can be a really great place!

We would absolutely go back.

Hubby got: Bacwn Byrgyr o Bangor

Half Pound of House Ground Beef and Bacon Mixed 50/50; Topped with Caramelized Onion and Cheddar Cheese

I got: Charlie Parker Jr

Herb-Marinated Chicken Breast Sandwich, topped with Roasted Tomato, Provolone, and a Creamy Garlic Sauce, served on Ciabatta

We also tried the pretzel with beer cheese. Pretzel was soft and not over cooked.

Looking forward to stopping in again!
