La Cazuela delivered on all fronts. I dined in and ordered a burrito with chorizo.
You can tell right away that the owners are incredibly passionate and enthusiastic about the food that they serve in the establishment that they maintain. It’s so warm and inviting inside the restaurant.
As for burrito— I mean come on look at the photo I uploaded. The burrito was filled to the brim and each ingredient were seasoned just right. Not too spicy not too salty. After I took the first bite, my hand started shaking in delight. I devoured the rest of the burrito within 6 and a half minutes.
If I’m ever near the area again, another burrito will enter my body from La Cazuela.

This is the only restaurant in Dover Plains worth the money. Food is great. Dining in could be better. No delivery because apparently delivery is a sin in Dover Plains.

An unexpected pleasure. Huge portion on the Appetizer “Papa’s Locas” a meal by itself and the La Cazuela Quesadilla was just a Delite! Twice I’ve been here and I was greeted promptly and no long wait for my meal to be served which seems to be a problem with the other Restaurants I frequent. Everything was Fresh and full of flavor My new favorite Restaurant!

We ordered takeout on a weeknight, it wasn’t busy at all. The best items that we ordered and enjoyed were the fish tacos, chicken quesadillas, and churros. They were all delicious. The chicken quesadilla was also very good with salsa verde sauce. The owner was very friendly and efficient. Our food was ready in 10 minutes. We’ll be back!

Place is a bit dark and it doesn’t seem anybody in this town actually sits down and eats here. That being said, food is great and flavorful. The queso is absolutely delicious!

We went for the first time for dinner and they did not disappoint!! Everyone was so incredibly friendly and very welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious! The food came out very quickly and the portion sizes were perfect. We got the chicken enchiladas, steak con shrimp, and a Mac n Cheese. I have never had a steak so delicious, I ate the whole thing in one sitting. Our son said the Mac n Cheese is in his list of Top 10!

The owners are nice, but i wont be going bere anymore.
Been here a few times, like the Mole’. One time I got it they used the frickin blue cheese and i brought it back and they redid it.
But the last time I went with my wife, I just said nah, not going here again. You order a soda and she just brings a can with a straw, no glass with ice. They don’t provide anything to snack on like the other spanish owned place down the road, and then they charge you almost $20 a plate.
It’s overpriced for what it is, especially since half mile down the road you have better prices and the food is just as good. The owner serves the plates herself so there’s no paying for waitstaff, but the customer still pays higher price. I get that prices are up right now all over but it shouldn’t cost $40 for 2 plates of chicken enchiladas. It’s a little beans and rice and few pieces of dark meat chicken with small tortilla. Super cheap meal, but expensive here.

Delicious. You can tell they use high quality meats and ingredients. Definitely coming back. We got the chicken nachos for app.. I had the steak tacos. So, so good! The restaurant itself is small, like a little hole in the wall. That’s how you know it’s good!
